A great little cottage in a peaceful location to get away from it all. The host was great at showing us around the accommodation when we arrived and then left us to it. Would highly recommend!

About the neighbourhood
The cottage is located in beautiful, secluded valley in rural Breconshire, close to the Brecon Beacons, Black Mountains, Hay-on-Wye, Brecon, Llangorse Lake and Talgarth. It has wonderful views and local walks and is great for mountain-biking, pony-trekking, canoeing and lots more. You can walk to the village pub a mile away, or we can recommend up to half a dozen restaurants and pubs within 5 to 15 minutes drive for their good food and welcome. Because of its location, the valley is ideal for bird-watching and a short drive to Llangasty church and a delightful lake-side walk will take you to the bird hide overlooking Llangorse Lake. The lake is a protected area for water birds. The cottage has recently been awarded a 4 star quality rating by Visit Wales.
Getting around
You will need 'wheels' to get around, either a car or bikes, or sturdy walking boots. Public transport is very limited, but there are taxi services available in Brecon, six miles away..
