Newport, Southern Wales, Wales
Pencraig is ideally located for a great holiday or short break. A short walk down the lane and you arrive at Pwllgwaelod beach, a gem which is largely undiscovered. The lane leads to Dinas Island, an AA 'Walk of the Year' and spectacular in all seasons. This north coast of Pembrokeshire remains wild and unspolit. The cottage is at the edge of the village which has a shop, garage and three good pubs, one with a good restaurant is down on the beach. The whole Pembrokeshire coast is a natural attraction. The heather and hills in the National Park are just a mile or so away and there's no better town than Newport which is just 3 miles from the cottage with its huge beach and dunes, an 18 hole links golf course, a friendly boat club.

Management response:

So pleased the break was what you wanted! You describe the things I appreciate about the place when I go to stay there myself. Always walk to the beach before breakfast and then find myself walking further along the coastal path.

We stayed at Pencraig for a week and absolutely loved the location. It's a 10 minute walk (downhill) to the beaches and the circular walk round was really great with fab views. The cottage had everything we needed and had a lovely log fire which was perfect after a day of sightseeing and walking the coastal paths. Pembrokeshire is such...

Management response:

I'm glad you had a good time and enjoyed the log fire. The Pembs coastline has such variety and is also so extensive it never seems busy.
