We would highly recommend this cottage. It is cosy, spotless and in a peaceful setting with stunning views. We received a warm welcome and some yummy homemade Welsh cakes. The location of this cottage is perfect for a stay in Southern Wales as it's close to the Brecon Beacons and also the coast. A beautiful converted stable block, the cottage has a 5 star grading from Visit Wales (the Welsh Tourist Board). It sleeps up to six people in two double and one twin room. A cot and high chair are available upon request. There is one en-suite shower room and a family bathroom with jacuzzi bath. There is an exhaustively equipped kitchen with its Rangemaster ceramic double oven and granite worktops (ideal for enthusiastic cooks). There is an open-plan dining room, utility room (with washer/dryer) and cosy living room with wood-burning stove, wide-screen TV (with Sky+) and Wi-Fi.

Glyn Cynwal Isaf Cottage has views over Rhiwfawr and Gwrhyd mountain, Allt-y-Grug and The Black Mountain with excellent walking straight from the door and with lots to do; easily accessible to The Swansea Valley, Ystradgynlais and The Neath Valley. The Palleg Golf Course is a ten minute walk or drive away, and there are several pubs with restaurants less than ten minutes away in village.

The cottage is approximately a 1 hour drive from Cardiff Airport.<BR>There is a regular Swansea-Cork ferry service and Swansea is approximately a 30 minute drive away.<BR>There is also a regular ferry service running between Fishguard-Rosslare. Fishguard is approximately 1 1/2 hours drive away.<BR>Our nearest train stations are Neath (20 minutes away) and Swansea (30 minutes away), and there is an hourly service to London Paddington.
