We booked The Old Rectory for a family occassion because it had 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and was convenient to where we needed to be. The amazing grounds,the view and the accomodation were pure bonus. Public transport is virtually at the door and shops within walking distance. Cant recommend this place highly enough and will definitely return one summer...

We were here while waiting for a channel swim. What a wonderful accommodation, lovely location close enough to Belfast. But ideally situated on the coast. Easy access to the beach and a lovely area to swim and to watch the ferries coming into Belfast. All local amenities are within easy reach. So what of the accommodation itself? Brilliant, a high...

What a fantastic house which had everything you needed and was beautifully decorated. The location on the shore of Belfast Lough was terrific and the house was in a quiet lane, yet within 2 minutes drive from the motorway network and only 20 minutes by bus to the centre of Belfast. We are close to all motorways. Bus and train services pass close by, and guests also enjoy the convenience of a 24 hour shop within 2 minutes walk.<BR><BR>The 800-year old Carrickfergus Castle, one of Irelands oldest and most impressive Norman castles, is only 8 miles away. Belfast Zoo, Fortwilliam Golf Club, the beautiful and historic Cave Hill offering stunning views over Belfast & the Lough, are all only ten minutes drive. <BR><BR>The main residence has direct private access to the coastal path and beach, where you can enjoy leisurely walks and a gently scenic cycle.
