Interaction with guestsI meet all my guests at the property, to give them their keys and show them how everything works and answer any questions they may have. It does not matter what time of day or night my guests arrive I will be happy to meet them. If they need collected at Newcastle Bus Station that is not a problem. I live within a 15 minute drive away from the cottage, so I am generally on hand, but I am only ever a phone call away.

Visit Castlewellan forest park and enter the Peace Maze. It is the world's largest permanent hedge maze representing the path to a peaceful future for Northern Ireland. Planted in 2000 with community involvement, it is maturing quickly and visitors attempt to solve their way to the peace bell in the centre of the maze. How to get there
Newcastle is located 34 miles/ 55 km from Belfast. Driving time is approx 1 hour. Newry is roughly 20miles / 33 km and approx 45 mins driving time. Dublin is roughly 74 miles / 120km and approx 1hr 45 mins driving time Contact the Owner for details on the best way to reach the cottage from your location If you are arriving from Belfast: Drive through Newcastle towards Newcastle harbour and Kilkeel. Pass the Harbour House Inn (mustard coloured building) on your left. About 300m, just before the National Speed Limit sign, take the slip road to your right. Number 165 is the third house (red and white porch) in the first row of terrace houses on your right. Although there are no designated parking spaces provided for each individual house you will see that the residents park on the slip road outside. This is a narrow two way road and I would please ask you to use common sense when parking , so as not to obstruct the road for other users.
