With it's breathtaking views across Loch Fyne to the Arrochar Alps, Newton Cottage North is located within a short walking distance of Inveraray, a historic Scottish town.

With a pedigree dating back to the 1850s, and previously owned by the Duke of Argyll, the cottage is part of the town's conservation area and stands alongside an interesting range of period properties.

Recently fully renovated by its new owners, the seafront cottage has a new kitchen and new flooring in the cosy downstairs living room, with its small dining area and French doors leading to the spacious back garden. The centrepiece of the living room is its cheerful log fire set in a delightful antique fireplace.

The front window looks straight out onto the loch, with sweeping views of the hills to the north, east and south.

The cottage is beautifully decorated, with a lot of thought and care obviously put into it. It had everything we needed for our stay in terms of kitchen equipment, bedding etc. There is a lovely secluded garden to the rear and parking was very easy....More

We had a fantastic stay in a beautiful little cottage If was immaculate and very cosy. The only thing we didn't have, was the use of an iron. However that didn't hamper our stay. We will stay there again on our next visit.

My family have a caravan in Tayvallich so I pass through Inveraray often but rarely get a chance to stop and enjoy it, this time I did and it was well worth the stop. Myself and my friends stayed in this beautiful wee cottage for...More

From the South, exit the M74 at junction 4 and follow signs for Glasgow City centre (M8). Travel up the M8 taking junction 30 for the Erskine Bridge, and join the A82 to Dumbarton and Loch Lomond. At Tarbet, near the head of picturesque Loch Lomond, bear left onto the A83 signposted for Inveraray.

Scottish Citylink provide a regular bus service to Inveraray from Glasgow City Centre: Travel time is approximately 1hr 40 minutes.
