We had an amazing week at Crosple Cottage. We wanted for nothing whilst there, a perfect tucked away gem of a cottage stunning sea views.
Great base for exploring Oban, inner Hebredean islands, Kells, Kilmore, Crinan, and so much more.
We loved it.

Stunning!
The cottage was immaculate and felt like home which was lovely! The view from the cottage and the surrounding areas are absolutely stunning, we were so lucky to find this place! 😍 There are also some lovely walks nearby! The paintings in the cottage were gorgeous and the touches throughout were lovely. It had everything you needed and more, including fishing rods which we used on Tinkers Point around the Loch. 🎣 we were welcomed with the most beautiful bunch of flowers, biscuits and wine which was a lovely surprise! We’ve had a lovely, well relaxed stay here and would love to return. Thank you Rory and Jennie for having us! 🥰

Fantastic comfortable cottage.
What a fantastic little cottage in such a wonderful corner of Argyll and Bute.
Comfortable and homely with everything you need to enjoy this beautiful location.
30 mins from all the amenities you’ll need in Oban with several small shops and cafes within a short trip to keep you stocked in coffee and cake.
The walks and wildlife from the door are outstanding thread can be enjoyed with or without the weather.
We can’t wait to return.
10 out of 10.

Wonderful cottage in fabulous surroundings.
Our second visit, and as delightful as before. A beautiful and well appointed cottage set in idyllic peaceful countryside. Poor weather this visit, but that only served to highlight the quality of the cottage and it's furnishings - a lovely place to spend time in. Didn't see Rory this time, but reassured that he could be contacted easily.
We expect to be back!

The BEST cottage we have ever stayed in!
Crosple Cottage is an idyllic place, quiet & secluded yet within easy reach of all the delights of Argyll.
Booking communication was fast and efficient.
Rory and Jennie have created a luxurious super-comfy cottage, wonderful furnishings, huge cooks kitchen, really comfy bed, large bathroom, even Rory's gorgeous artworks on the walls.
Stunning views from every window, the only sounds being birds, lambs baa-ing and owls calling at night.
We will definitely be booking again.

Another Wonderful Holiday at Crosple.
Another 2 weeks of peace and tranquility at Crosple Cottage close to Loch Melfort and a 20 minute drive from Oban. I can't rate this cottage too highly. We have now spent 3 holidays over 5 weeks at Crosple because of it's location and high quality facilities.
Rory and Jennie are the perfect hosts, friendly and very helpful. Nothing is too much trouble to them to make sure that their guests have a memorable holiday.
The location of the cottage makes it ideal to explore the area and the peace it offers means you can do as much or as little as you wish.
The cottage is well equipped to a very high standard with everything required to ensure a comfortable stay.
Thank you Rory and Jenny, we will definitely be returning, (soon).

Charming, comfortable cottage.
Probably the best equipped cottage we have stayed in. Extremely well laid out and ideal for two persons. Secluded position set in beautiful countryside with marvellous views all around.
Immaculately clean and tidy with large comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom including a deep roll top bath. We felt instantly at home in the cottage and would highly recommend it. We will definitely return .

Crosple Cottage, an oasis of tranquility
If relaxing and exploring in beautiful surroundings, overlooking Loch Melfort is what you are looking for then Crosple cottage will not disappoint. The views of the loch and surrounds are stunning whatever the weather. Time spent relaxing, drinking in the peace and tranquility of the cottage makes for a very relaxing, stress free holiday.
There is an abundance of wildlife including red squirrels, otters and a huge variety of birds to mention a few.
The cottage itself is the best for location and facilities that we have ever stayed in and would definitely agree with it's 5 star rating.
The layout is perfect to maximize the views and so well appointed with everything we needed. The lounge is open plan and has a wall mounted TV with Netflix provided as well as the normal catch up apps such as BBC i player, ITVX etc. There is also an integrated sound system and wood burning stove for colder days, though we were blessed with perfect weather for almost every day.
The kitchen itself is well appointed and equipped with everything that we needed
Rory and Jennie were the perfect hosts, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The wine, chocolate brownies and flowers were much appreciated and enjoyed.
We were made to feel very welcome when we attended a church fundraising event in the village hall.
We visited Rory’s studio to view his paintings but you will be tempted, as we were, to purchase one, though you will be spoiled for choice as they are all absolutely stunning.
All in all we have spent a wonderful two weeks at Crosple Cottage and look forward to a return visit and are already checking dates for next year.
In conclusion we would not hesitate to recommend Crosple Cottage for a wonderful holiday
Thank you Rory and Jennie,

This is an exceptional review, thank you! Sounds almost too good to be true... but we know it is true thanks partly to the fine weather you had, but mainly thanks to our amazing cleaner who does an outstanding job each week. This is helped also by kind guests such as yourselves who leave the house so clean and tidy when they leave. All much appreciated and we look forward to welcoming you both back again soon.
