This fabulous third-floor apartment is beautifully situated in the sought after 'Leith Shore',backing onto the Water of Leith and is part of a unique,late 18th Century converted cooperage.   It has elevator access and private parking.  Leith boasts a very vibrant community with a wealth of pubs,parks and community events. It has become the top 'foodie' destination in Edinburgh and among the best in the UK with an enormous choice of restaurants within a small area. Ocean Terminal boasts excellent shopping as well as a cinema complex,bars and restaurants,some overlooking the Royal Yacht Britannia.  The 12 mile Water of Leith Walkway offers a lovely afternoon walk,passing many points of interest.   The area is extremely well served with buses into town - day and night services. As you enter the main building through the secure entrance you can either take the stairs or the elevator to this third floor apartment.  The entrance hall leads you into the bright and airy open plan lounge/kitchen with sofa bed,TV,DVD,wi-fi and radio with iPod dock.  The underfloor heating in lounge lets you relax and enjoy a cosy night in after a busy day. The kitchen area with central island fridge/freezer,dishwasher and washer/dryer and dining area make this a great social space. back to the hallway you will find the double bedroom with built in wardrobe and the quirky bathroom with feature beams has a shower over bath. As you go outside you will find the communal grounds which run alongside the water's edge. There is private residents' parking for which a permit is provided. This is an excellent place to stay to explore Edinburgh. Only 10 minutes walk from Royal Yacht Britannia. Very close to the bus stop for the city centre, which is about 15 minutes away. It is also close to many pubs and restaurants. The apartment...More
