It is a perfect apartment for people on a business trip or couples with/out a child. Drummond Apartments are in the heart of the Old Town - very central making it a perfect base to explore Edinburgh. The Grassmarket nearby is full of great restaurants, offering pre-theatre deals and outdoor dining so you can sit and soak in the atmosphere. Some of the University buildings are located within a 50m walk from the flat. Edinburgh is a great city for exploring on foot- stroll up to Bruntsfield to the lovely unique shops, cafes and bars there, or sunbath and picnic in the Meadows. High Street shopping along Princes Street and George Street. The exclusive Multrees Walk and Harvey Nichols at St Andrew's Square. Gardens - Princes Street Gardens and The Meadows are both nearby. The Botanical Gardens are well worth a visit and are about a 30 minute walk through Edinburgh's centre, through the Georgian New Town. These are free, with a charge for the Glass Houses. Enjoy a meal at the fabulous new Gateway Restaurant. If you have any questions please dont hesitate to to ask and hope you can make your stay in Edinburgh even more comfortable and stay at Drummond House. The apartment is situated in the heart of Edinburgh's Old Town,on the 1st floor of a refurbished red sandstone schoolhouse.The apartment is to the rear of the building with views across a private carpark and the rooftops of the city offering a peaceful location.On entry there is a shower room and storage room.At the end of the corridor is the bedroom with a built-in mirrored wardrobe. In the living room you will find a sofabed with armchair and coffee table. To the centre of the room there is a dining table and 2 chairs (2 additional foldaway chairs are stored in the hallway cupboard). There's a TV offering 80 channels, an iron,ironing board and hairdryer. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances,ample crockery,cutlery and glassware.More

About the neighbourhood
The neighbourhood, being close to Edinburgh University inevitably attracts a lot of students that live in the area though they tend to be in their late to final years of study as well as many young, business types and first-time-property owners too. Its got a great vibe with smart shops, cafés, bars and independent retail. For the tourist, we are a stones throw from the National Museum of Scotland, the Royal Mile with its many attractions, the Scottish Parliament and Palace of Hollyrood. If you are wanting a base during the many summer festivals, you could not be more in the heart of the action!
