Because of your position between Grassmarket and Cowgate Street , it is quite easy to reach the different landmarks and popular tourists sites such as Edinburgh Castle. The area itself is also conveniently close to popular streets for shopping or exploration like Princes or George Street. You can furthermore sate your thirst for knowledge and art when staying at the apartment by taking a short walk to the various theatres, music halls, galleries and museums which can be found both in New and Old Town.
