A superbly equipped and apportioned self-contained single storey annexe with dedicated main door and private parking in courtyard. Ideally located in the City of Edinburgh for easy access to local transport and amenities yet beautifully set amidst secluded surroundings.

The long entrance hall has a large cupboard for coats and shoes. The L-shaped living area includes a bright and spacious sitting room with 3 seater and 2 seater settees, an ornamental fireplace, HDTV with HD Freeview, HD DVD player and iPhone/iTouch docking station and integral amplifier. If I could give the Annexe more than 5 stars, I would. In my opinion, this is the place to stay. It is in a perfect location. It is steps away from a main bus line going into Old Town Edinburgh. It is also very close to a bus line along the main road in the village that can take...

We stayed at the Annexe from July 7 to July 21 2017. The good standard in the apartment was in exactly the same way as in the description on the website and had every possible utensil we needed for our stay. We recently stayed in the Annexe for 4 nights. Fiona and Al are great hosts and have truly provided everything you need for a comfortable stay. While we were there, Edinburgh experienced an unusual "heat wave", 30C+. I will say that the Annexe stays very comfortable. You can easily open windows for air, but Fiona also had a stand-up fan...

Rates includes all utility costs for duration of your stay including heat, light, linen and towels.

25% of total rental required to reserve the apartment and balance due in full 6 weeks before arrival.

A refundable Security Deposit of £150 will be charged 6 weeks before arrival.


Cancellations

You are strongly advised to effect holiday cancellation insurance to provide you with the relevant cover should this be required.

If the accommodation becomes unavailable for any reason, we will make every effort to provide you with alternative accommodation. Should alternative accommodation not be found, a full refund will be made. Note that we cannot however be held responsible beyond a full refund and we will not incur any further liability for damages or consequential loss.

About the neighbourhood
Originally a small village, Davidsons Mains and Blackhall now form part of the City of Edinburgh. The area has virtually every conceivable amenity within a few minutes walk of the Annexe including shops, supermarket, bars, chemist and Post Office. In addition you can stroll through the local park and access Corstorphine woods or walk the 3km to the edge of the sea shore.

There are few UK locations offering such a mixture of activities, features, relaxation and entertainment all within a few minutes journey time.

The area is served by a number of bus services and journey time to the city centre by bus is only 15 minutes.

The Annexe is located just off the main Queensferry Road leading into the heart of the City.

It is only a 20 minute taxi ride from Edinburgh airport or 15 minutes by bus from the city centre. And with a bus stop to and from the city centre only 200m from the property, the city and the surrounding attractions really are 'on your doorstep'.
