Great flat in fantastic central location. The addition of secure parking was icing on cake. Lovely owners who really looked after us. We'll worth a visit.

We absolutely loved this apartment. It is so spacious & homely, containing every little thing we could think of or need! Liz was excellent to deal with & was very flexible with our arrival to give us plenty of freedom to explore the area on our way, which we really appreciated. The parking was very easy & secure. Booked apartment for rugby weekend. Excellent location, especially for train station. Easy access to Royal Mile. Secure parking and we were able to gain access early. Quiet location too. Owners were very helpful in relation to information on local area, places to eat etc. Would definitely rebook.

These rental rates are for the apartment, including bed linen, towels, heating and hot water, based on 4 people staying. ** You will find the best price guaranteed on our own web-site - search on Google for Atholl Brae **Also included is wi-fi and parking in a shared on-site garage.We are happy to provide a cot, high-chair and a folding bed, on request, for a small extra charge.We will also be delighted to help you plan your time in Edinburgh. We prefer a 3 night minimum stay, because this allows us to pass on our best prices but we will be pleased to quote you for a shorter stay. We can also accommodate a 5th person for an additional £20 per night, which is payable for the whole of the reserved stay.

About the neighbourhood
Easy walking distance to many historic buildings and attractions, including the Palace of Holyroodhouse, Edinburgh Castle, the Museum of Scotland and the Scottish National Art Gallery.
Shops, restaurants, bars, night clubs a-plenty (but not so nearby that you are likely to hear them).
Edinburgh is a green city and there are many parks - The Queen's Park, is within easy walking distance from the apartment - it has several lochs, a ruined castle and Arthur's Seat to climb, for fabulous panoramic views.
Getting around
The apartments are right in the centre of the Old Town, so if you're able to; walk wherever you can, if it's local. I would call all of the Royal Mile and Old Town local - so this includes the Castle, Holyrood Palace, the National Museum, Dynamic Earth and Arthur's Seat, as well as the Grassmarket and The Mound, which leads down, through magnificent views, to Princes Street.
Further afield? ... Edinburgh has an excellent local bus and tram service, some of which pass very nearby - up and down the Royal Mile.
Longer distance buses and trains can whisk you off, from the very nearby Waverley Station - for day and longer trips to, for instance; Glasgow, Stirling Castle or The Trossachs. You can also take organised day tours, with guides.
