We stayed in May. Yes there are lots of stairs but that's no issue for most. The apartment is charming. Lovely little warm touches here and there and very cosy. Love that there is some bread and other things in the cupboard so you can at least make a cup of tea and a bit of toast. Location is fantastic...

Whilst looking for accommodation for our trip to Edinburgh, I happened upon this apartment and booked it based on previous positive reviews posted here. I'm glad to report that everything I read was true and the photos on the site are genuine. Mark was a pleasure to deal with and always responded quickly to questions I asked via the website...

£100 deposit repayable within 24 hours of leaving the apartment. Basket of logs for fire are included at no additional cost. A welcome hamper of Scottish fudge, teacakes and highland spring water will be in the apartment to welcome you as well as a box of speciality teas and coffee selection. Arrival time from 1pm (bag drop & key collection is possible earlier but is dependent on other bookings), check out by 10.00am - late check-ins may incur an additional charge, please enquire before making a booking if you cannot make a 1pm arrival time. We have free parking outside the apartment in the evenings and weekends. Outwith these times we have free parking 24/7 on a nearby residential street 5 minutes walk away. Car hire is available at the Hertz or Enterprise car rental, both of which are just a few minutes walk from the apartment.

PLANE
You can take the tram directly from Edinburgh airport to the city centre. We are less than 5 minutes walk from the last stop (York Place). The price is £5.50 single or £8.50 return.

TRAIN/BUS
We are 10 minutes walk (or 2 minutes in a taxi!) from both the bus and train stations.
