The separate kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, washing machine, fridge, kettle and toaster and microwave. The apartment is gas centrally heated with instant hot water and fully double glazed. I always like to personally meet my guests on arrival to hand over keys and to make sure the check-in process runs smoothly for them and any general questions they may have regarding how things work. Occasionally if I am on holiday and cannot be there to meet them there is a key safe system where they can collect the keys. The code is sent to them in advance and they are free to call me anytime during their stay. I have met so many wonderful guests over the years and will continue to provide an excellent first class service.

The flat is lovingly furnished and very cosy. It has everything you need for a short stay, and the welcome pack and fresh flowers on arrival were also really appreciated. The location is perfect for sight-seeing and all the local amenities. We would definitely stay...More

Stayed for a second time at this apartment. Central to all amenities, supermarket, castle and Royal mile whilst being in a quiet location. All facilities you would need for your stay, separate bedroom, washing machine, oven and refrigerator with a supermarket 2 minutes away. 10...More

We stayed here for four nights and it was exactly as advertised. Spotless apartment in a great location. Perfect for the fringe festival. If we come back next year I would definitely stay here again.

From Edinburgh airport: Airlink (Service 100) is Edinburgh's dedicated express service between the Airport and City Centre. The route to the airport is served 24 hours. Cost of tickets. Single adult - £3.50 Single child - £2.00 Adult open return - £6.00 Child open return - £3.00 Excellent taxi service from airport approximate cost £18/£20 Waverley train station is approximately 1km. There is a taxi rank in the Waverley station. A taxi will take no more than 8 minutes and will cost approximately £5. Walking to apartment will take 20-25 mins. Haymarket train station is closer, 0.5km from the apartment. Walking time should take 12 minutes. Precise directions will be emailed prior to arrival.
