About Roseneath Apartment

Spacious, sunny apartment on second floor of a traditional Edinburgh tenement in Marchmont, a lovely residential area within walking distance of the city centre, but quiet for some space when you want to relax. Very close to the meadows and Bruntsfield links, great shopping on your doorstep, all amenties close by. Close to many tourist and festival venues, and to the university and financial centres in Edinburgh.

The flat makes an ideal home from home, and many of our guests stay longer (3 weeks - 3 months) when they are in Edinburgh to work or for a study visit. Longer term discounts can be arranged, particularly over winter.

Roseneath Place is located in the Marchmont area of Edinburgh, which is popular due to its close proximity to the city centre, frequent bus services and amenities combined with the open spaces of Bruntsfield Links and the Meadows, which are particularly great for families. Once a village in its own right, Marchmont still retains its own identity with unique shops and cafes, despite being only a short distance walk to the city centre, where you’ll find all you need (and more).
Getting around
The nearest bus stop (no 45 bus) is only 1 minute walk from the main door at Roseneath Apartment. The 45 bus takes you into Edinburgh City Centre in about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
The Waverley train station is about 5 - 15 minutes by taxi (depending on traffic), and accessible by the 45 bus, or about 20 - 25 minutes walking.
There are phone numbers for taxi's in the flat.
You can easily walk to many locations in Edinburgh, and a very pleasant walk through the Meadows towards the Royal Mile, especially in Spring when the daffodils and crocuses are flowering, or when the Cherry Blossom lines all the walks across the meadows.
