Edinburgh, Scotland
This is a gorgeous Georgian apartment in the heart of Edinburgh's laid back West End, situated less than 5 minutes walk from Princes' Street. The flat is beautifully decorated and is packed full of Scottish fabrics, original Scottish paintings and drawings, warm colours and heaps of personality. It's a great base from which to explore Edinburgh on foot, and once you're worn out from a great day of shopping or sightseeing there's a fab kitchen in the apartment and a wood burning stove for a cosy night in. For the more energetic just dump the shopping bags, get the 'glad rags' on and walk a few hundred yards to some of the best bars and restaurants that Edinburgh has to offer. After a few nights here you're almost guaranteed to feel Scottish and you certainly won't want to leave!

Just the most perfect apartment to stay in! The location couldn't be better. The flat is decorated beautifully showcasing Scottish textiles and with gorgeous artworks on the walls. The attention to detail was most appreciated... flowers, Tunnocks Teacakes, fresh bread and other useful items in the fridge. It was warm, quiet and Andy was lovely and so helpful. I will...

This flat is wonderful.It's cosy, quirky, stylish... there is fantastic art on the walls and great attention to detail. Andy also left us some delicious crackers. It has a homely style with a contemporary twist... a lot of thought has gone into the design.We loved it! The area is great, quiet but with a good selection of pubs and galleries.

Air<BR>The Airport Bus and Edinburgh Tram stop (West End) is just a few hundred yards away from the apartment on Shandwick Place making it very easy to get to the apartment from the airport.<BR><BR>Train<BR>Haymarket train station is a 5 minute walk away from the apartment but if you can't bear to walk the Edinburgh Tram will whisk you along to Shandick Place/West End in about 2 minutes. Waverley train station is a 10 minute walk but again you could jump on the Edinburgh Tram* at St Andrew's Square and be along at the West End stop in about 3 minutes.<BR><BR>Car<BR>If you are travelling to Edinburgh by car there is handy on street parking that is metered just outside of the apartment. I recommend using the 'Ringo app' on your phone... more
