A home from home our flat is situated right in the heart of Edinburgh allowing you to step outside and take in the culture, visit the bars and restaurants and meander along the cobbled streets of Edinburgh. With three double bedrooms (one with its own dressing room) a large formal living room and spacious new dining kitchen you won't want to hand back the keys. This first floor apartment even benefits from a shared garden to the rear providing allowing you to escape the hustle and bustle and even to enjoy dining alfresco if the temperatures allow! In a residential street this property is perfect for families.

Stayed at the apartment for two nights which was excellent very spacious fantastic kitchen and only 10 minute walk from centre a supermarket just round the corner and some lovely bars wouldn't hesitate to stay here again

About the neighbourhood
The flat is quietly situated in a beautiful Victorian tenement on the edge of Edinburgh's New Town. East Claremont Street is an attractive cobbled street presenting fine examples of the diversity in architecture within the city. From the street there is a view of Edinburgh Castle whilst Princes Street is 0.6 miles away. The Broughton area has a vibrant mix of cafes, bars, restaurants and designer shops all within a 5 to 10 minute walk. There is a corner shop along the street and a Tesco supermarket a couple of streets away for all your grocery needs.
Getting around
The flat is in walking distance of Princes Street, simply take a left turn out of the flat and turn left heading up the hill on Broughton Street. If you require groceries turn left out of the flat and then right at the end of the road. There is a large Tesco on the right hand side at the cross roads a few minutes away.
There is metered on street parking to the front of the flat (Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm), however many guests park a few streets away where the parking zoning ends so the parking is free (turn right out of the flat and continue along the street to the 'T' junction with Broughton Rd, turn right along Broughton Rd and the free parking starts along this road just after McDonald Rd.

Railway: Waverley Station: 1.2 km
EDINBURGH AIRPORT: From Edinburgh Airport take the tram to York Place or the Airlink bus to Waverley Station (slightly further away), the flat is then a short 5-15 minute walk downhill. A taxi from the airport is around £30 and takes 25 to 30 minutes depending on the time of day. It is more economic if in a larger group. TRAIN: Edinburgh Waverley Station is a 10-15 minute walk away from the flat. A taxi will take a few minutes. BUSES: Lothian Buses is the main bus operator in Edinburgh. The number 8 stops a short walk up from the end of the street and will take you across town. There is a timetable and a bus route map in the Information Pack in the flat.
