We stayed at the Garden Apartment with our 2 spaniel dogs Barney & Lexy who had great time exploring the vast grounds of Thrumster house. The host Catherine was very welcoming & nothing was any trouble. The apartment is very homely & an ideal place to sit & relax around the grounds or use as your base to explore Caithness....

A 50% booking deposit is required and the balance is to be paid on arrival , cheque is a preferred payment though paypal to paypal is acceptable too.
We will offer last minute booking deals for any number of nights depending on the time of year.
Each let has the use of 5 wild brown trout lochs for free and a boat can be hired for £10 per day dependent on availability.

Airport: Wick: 8.0 km
Thrumster is a two hour drive north from Inverness where there are many car hire companies based at the airport and the train station including Budget car hire on 01463 713 333 and Enterprise rent-a-car 01463 235 525 or take the train, though it takes longer at 4 hours.<BR> Wick has a small airport that has flights from Edinburgh and Aberdeen. Richards Garage 01955 604123 and William Dunnet on 01955 602103 both provide car hire locally.<BR>Bus services are provided by Stagecoach on 01847 893 123<BR>Ferries to and from Orkney and Shetland : Pentland ferries on 01955 611 77, Northlink ferries 0n 0845 6000 449
