Holiday Rental House -
2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 4
Pitlochry, Perth and Kinross, Scotland
Dane's Stone View is situated in the picturesque preservation village of Moulin which sits at the base of Ben Vrackie (a mountain just under 3000 feet high). The parish of Moulin and Pitlochry evolved around 1745. Most of the activity is based around the "village square" with a large Copper Beach Tree planted at the centre to commemorate Queen Elizabeth 11 coronation. The Moulin Kirk which despite more than 3 fires, still remains a prominent feature, with its' photogenic spire and graveyard. This contains paupers graves and a "Crusaders" grave preserved through the centuries. To the east lies the Moulin Inn, once the staging post keeping horses and carriages in the coach house ready to take visitors across the Moor to Kirkmichael, to Perth or simply to the railway station in Pitlochry to meet the steam train. This cottage was perfect. We had come up to Pitlochry as a base to ski for a few days in the Cairngorms. It was lovely coming back to the cosy house after skiing. The open plan living space and the log burner is great! We came as a two but it would also suit a bigger family as the cottage...

The accommodation has EVERYTHING you would need and we were pleasantly surprised the minute we entered the bungalow to find a wee welcome note and some goodies waiting for us. It is just such a cosy and beautiful property and the owner has done everything, and more, to ensure that the stay is catered for. Thank you very much for...
