Loved the location and the weather was great, blue sky everyday, fresh air. Ideal place to chill out. Enjoyed the walking from the house to the beach, the pub for lunch in Stein. Recommend the boat trip from Stein, too, and also a visit to the Skyeskins shop is a must (you can do all of these by just walking...

Waternish is spoilt with places to visit, there are several fantastic coastal and woodland walks with an abundance of interesting wildlife to be seen, Trumpan Churchyard where the infamous battle of the "Spoiling of the Dyke" occurred, the Thomas Telford village of Stein where you can eat and drink in the oldest inn on Skye and Skyeskyns, the only 5* tourist attraction on the island. <BR><BR>Go 15 mins away by car and you get to Dunvegan Castle and the Coral beaches. And for all food lovers the world renowned Three Chimneys Restaurant is only 20mins away and the Lochbay Seafood Restaurant is 5mins away.
