The area surrounding ‘Dun Ard’ is ‘country pure’ and offers walkers or cyclists panoramic views towards West Cork and Kerry, the Ballyhoura and Nagle Mountains and the sea in Cobh. About a mile away in the village of Knockraha you will find a pub and a shop. Our property is also home to A1-K9, our reputable and unique Boarding Kennels and Training Center, renowned nationwide for our own dog friendly and highly successful CAMOFO training method, that has recently been recognized with the European trademark. As a result of our CAMOFO training we have a calm and stress free kennel environment (no barking) full of happy and contented dogs; indeed an oasis for humans and dogs alike. Accommodation details: Kitchen/Sitting room: Table and chairs, sofa, kitchen area with fridge, cooker, cooker hood, Microwave, Kettle, Toaster, Radio and TV, electric heating. Bedroom 1: Double bed, bedclothes, bedside lamp, mirror, chair, Wardrobe Bedroom 2: 2 Bunk beds, shelves with books and games, cloth hooks with hangers. loved the place and highly recommend it, located in beautiful peaceful country side, yet only 20 minutes away from the beach or to Cork City.
