The house is on a scenic viewpoint on the Wild Atlantic Way a drive showing the best of amazing Donegal Irish seaside scenery. The top class interior features a Jacuzzi bath, real open lounge fire, oak floors and top quality kitchen with granite worktops. The house is within walking distance of a local pub and shop with a large private patio and carparking. From the lounge patio doors and balcony, dining area and bedrooms you have stupendous sea views across Donegal Bay to the golden sand beaches of Rossnowlagh. The shore House has been furnished with quality oak furniture and leather sofas. The kitchen has fitted appliances consisting of, dishwasher, oven, hob, fridge freezer and microwave. There is a large living dining room stretching the whole width of the property where the seaviews through the large glass patio doors across the balcony are phenomenal. Relax and watch satellite TV with suround sound on one of the three comfortable leather sofas. You can have dinner at the stylish custom oak dining table. The real fire means you will have heat if visiting when the weather isn't quite perfect. In Ireland no house would be complete without a traditional Irish 'scullery'.... utility room, which has it's own outside entrance and where you can change out of wet walking/sea gear without needing to walk through the kitchen or lounge. There is also a wc and kitchen sink drainer...... perhaps for cleaning those mackerel you caught earlier! Upstairs the master bedroom has a magnificient shower ensuite, as well as views over the bay. The second double bedroom also has dramatic sea views and shares with the triple bedroom the main bathroom with jacuzzi bath, seperate shower, wc, basin etc. Stair gate ,high Chair and cot provided. Jib Luff is situated right on the sea at Inver Port. This new town house is one of five next to the Pier. The house has a large private patio with garden furniture and its own parking area. The townhouses are part of a private complex with their own grounds. The garden areas to the front of the properties are communal and built around the old stone walls of the only whaling station in Ireland. Jib Luff has sandy and rocky stretches of beach in front of it. The pier will enable your children to fish safely at high tide, and the slipway makes launching any boat child's play. The house faces south east to catch the sun and to benefit from the unbelievable views across Donegal Bay to Rossnowlagh and the Sligo Mountains. The patio area faces west for sun in the afternoon. The sea is everywhere you look from this house, both inside and out. .Inver Port is a small bay with it's own pier and beaches. You can walk along the sea road to the larger village of Inver to the Rising Tide Pub where the river Eany enters Inver Bay. Or launch your boat and sail or motor down to the pub at high tide, which has its own pier outside! Now that's called arriving in style! On the way you can purchase large sea trout from the local fishermen. On the main road there is a small shop /l post office/coal and wood store called Cassidy's within walking distance. Further west from Inver is St John's point which sticks out into the ocean with sandy beaches, lighthouse and a great restaurant at the Castle Murray Hotel..Unlike many holiday home rentals in the West of Ireland, you are not isolated. Donegal town and all it's facilites are only a 10 minute drive away. Here you have Banks, Pubs, two large supermarkets, internet cafe, many restaurants and takeaways including Chinese, Indian and Italian. Whilst the thriving towns and cities of the Donegal area are a relatively new phenomenon, even with the recent downturn, they still remain essentially Irish, with great eateries and a wide range of shops. In essence, the Celtic Tiger never quite made it here and the area remains unspoiled. Donegal Town says it all .... natural hospitality, good food, and great craic all make for a holiday to be remembered when staying at Jib Luff in Inver Port. A bountiful mixture of mist, myth and magic. Locally paid linen /towels charge 60 euros. Returnable security deposit £300 WIFI available More

The description of the property is over-generous - the view from the house is indeed nice but the location is industrial and depressed. There are much more attractive places up and down the coast. Instead of being landscaped, the rear of the property is in...More

About the neighbourhood
Inver Port is a small bay with its own pier and beaches. You can walk along the sea road to the larger village of Inver to the Rising Tide Pub where the river Eany enters Inver Bay. Or launch your boat and sail or motor down to the pub at high tide, which has its own pier outside! On the way you can purchase large sea trout from the local fishermen. On the main road there is a small post office/coal and wood store called Cassidys.West from Inver is St Johns point which sticks out into the ocean with sandy beaches, lighthouse and a great restaurant at the Castle Murray Hotel. The ruined walls in front of the house are now preserved and were part of the only whale and basking-shark fishery in Donegal Bay which is unique.
Getting around
This is rural Ireland . A car is essential. The house is well placed to visit all local sights and not isolated so shopping in Donegal Town is easy!
