Entrance is into an attractive, spacious hall, with a door leading into the main bedroom with en-suite shower room. Also from the hall are stairs to the character living rooms, which are heavily beamed with vaulted ceilings throughout. The modern kitchen/diner has a good range of cupboards and work surfaces and is fully equipped. Incorporated in the kitchen is the dining table and chairs. An open beamed room divider leads to the comfortable lounge with a large sofa, armchair and floor cushions. A second set of stairs from the hall leads up to a uniquely designed first floor, with the staircase splitting to run parallel, separated by open beams, to provide separate access to a family bathroom and a further two cosy bedrooms. About the neighbourhood
Hunton is a rural village within an area of outstanding natural beauty with many lovely walks starting from the barn. Five minutes away, Yalding is a thriving Kentish village with many pretty, old buildings and a good choice of amenities; pubs, cafe, shop, post office and a great Thai restaurant. The Hop Farm is 10 minutes away which has many special events through the year. Bedgebury Pinetum is close by with miles of bike trails of all levels. See our website for more details of activities and attractions in the area but situated between London and the coast, your only problem will be deciding what to leave for next time!
How to get there
Under an hour from Dover and Folkestone ferry terminals (about 80 km), 45 mins from Gatwick (65km), excellent links to London from Paddock Wood (11km), 30 minutes to Ebbsfleet for high speed rail links to London and the continent. By road M20 via Maidstone. On booking we'll provide detailed directions.
