Completely misleading property unsafe for families
This property was miss-sold to us as a space to fit 5 people, it would be better as a couples retreat and not advertised as a family friendly holiday place. Would not advise parents who want a safe space for their family to book this property. The place seems dated and not kept in great condition, such as wear and tear, dirty windows and dust. Carpet pulling away in stairwell. Owners advertise this as an entire home but expect to be able to access the storeroom whenever they want to, and during our stay let themselves in without prior warning. I feel the owners use this property for quick cash and access to the boats they own.

Right by the riverA
A very restful location, overlooking the river, with wildlife nearby and meadows beyond. A well appointed, comfortable three floor house, with outside deck area, and its own parking. Two flights of stairs a bit of a challenge for the not-so-fit Main double bedroom large, light and airey, smaller bedroom somewhat cramped with 2+1 bunkbeds, but nonetheless very comfortable. Welcome useful basic provisions (and home-made damson gin) await guests arrival. Tewkesbury is an excellent centre for touring this beautiful area of England and Wales, and we look forward to returning some day

relaxing break
Alex and Nick were the perfect hosts. They allowed us to change our original booking from May to September before the government locked us down! The house was very clean and Alex contacted us to say we could check in early if we wanted. Evenings drinking the home made elderflower gin, part of our welcome pack, on the deck watching the sunset were perfect. The house was comfortable, well furnished, and well supplied, more like a home than a holiday let. There were lovely walks on the doorstep, which both of our dogs loved. Tewkesbury was a good base to explore the Cotswolds. We spent a week there and would certainly stay again when we next visit the area.

Perfect position
Had a fabulous week. The location is perfect, just sit by the river and watch the world go by or take a 2 minute walk and your in bustling Tewkesbury high street. Also perfectly situated to go further afield to the Cotswolds, Cheltenham or Worcester. The stairs are a little steep if your not so able but my 85 year old mom managed them. I would definitely stay again. Not sure why we didnt qualify for a bottle of wine like everyone else but the eggs bread and butter were appreciated.

Perfect spot by the river
The Wharf house is a perfect house by the river with a large decking and glass balcony allowing uninterrupted beautiful views across the Severn Ham. There is a large wicker table with seat and footstools making it the perfect spot to relax and watch the world go by. There is also a hot tub 😃 This is a charming house styled in a beachy feel with touches of drift wood, birds and boats. It is really well equipped with everything you need for a week. Both the living room and bedroom get stunning views including fabulous sunsets with the sun setting behind the hills. The house is a few minutes walk to the town centre with pubs and cafes within easy reach. The owner leaves a welcome pack of eggs, milk, butter and other essentials which is a lovely touch. There are dressing gowns in each room too. We loved our stay and will come back again soon.

Ticked all the boxes
Simple cottage with all facilities you would want- very welcoming, fantastic location for both pottering around Tewkesbury, and as a base for going further afield. The views are amazing. Very handy having own off-street parking. Lovely surprise to find bread, milk etc in fridge on arrival- nice touch.

Lovely spot by the river.
The house is right in the centre of the town but also next to the river in a very quiet location. Having a parking space was a vital asset. We liked the house, the views across to the meadow opposite, and the nearness to the town centre. We found Tewkesbury very interesting for a short stay and enjoyed a trip on the river and also a day out to Malvern and Ledbury. It worked out well for a break with a young baby.

Great house in a historic town, on the doorstep of the Cotswolds
This is the second time we have stayed in this town and this great compact house. Tewkesbury is a lovely historic town, a little off the tourist trail, but close to the Malverns and the many scenic Cotswold villages. This house is well fitted out for a comfortable stay, perfect for a couple but with two bedrooms and two TVs, a family could manage pretty well. Lovely to look out from each level of the house over the water and the Severn Ham to the Malvern Hills, and to walk a few minutes to the high street where there is a selection of pubs and restaurants to choose from. Alex the owner is readily available by phone if necessary. On arrival there are basic provisions of bread, eggs, butter and milk, and non basic (bottle of bubbly!) Highly recommended!
