The small village of Stretton-on-Fosse touches the Gloucestershire/Warwickshire border and a short drive from The Fosse Way but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet,making it a good base to tour the Cotswolds. There’s a good choice of fabulous local walks so bring the dog,they’ll love it. Many National Trust properties and gardens are on the doorstep including Hidcote Manor a short drive away. Drive to Moreton-in-Marsh train station for a leisurely journey to Oxford or London not forgetting the beautiful cathedral city of Hereford at the other end of the line. On arrival at the property you will find a useful entrance hall for wellies and coats. The lounge/diner is very welcoming with ample seating,a TV/DVD/video. Outside is a lovely,fenced,partially decked garden to the rear that has been landscaped to create a restful retreat with furniture,ideal for an early morning cup of tea.
