Built in 1902 Number Five is a Cotswold stone terraced cottage on Sheep Street in the very heart of Chipping Campden. The cottage benefits from fast speed internet throughout and all pubs restaurants small independent shops footpaths and historical sights are within a very short and easy walking distance. (bus stop is 5 minute walk from the cottage). Roadside parking is available on Sheep Street or The High Street both being very near. All roadside parking in Chipping Campden is free of charge with no time limits (outside of double yellow lines!) Number Five was renovated and totally refurbished in 2017 and now provides comfortable and spacious accommodation for visitors to the Cotswolds. A further door leads from the lobby and into a spacious open plan lounge/dining and well equipped kitchen area. The lounge is to the front of the cottage with 2 seater sofa, armchair, coffee table & Smart TV/Netflix CD/Radio, assortment of games & books. The dining table seats 4 guests comfortably and the well equipped kitchen has gas hob with extractor fan, electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine/drier, microwave, fridge (small freezer compartment) coffee maker and kettle. The large kitchen window looks out to the rear of the cottage and a back door opens onto a paved courtyard with planted baskets and pots of box hedge, Bay trees and seasonal flowers with an outdoor table and chairs. There is also a WC on the ground floor beside the rear door. From the lounge area a staircase leads to up to the spacious bedroom at the front of the cottage and the bathroom to the rear. The bedroom has a super king size bed (USA King) which can also be split to provide twin beds on request. There are 2 antique pine chests, a hanging wardrobe, bedside cabinets & a wall mounted flat screen TV. The modern en-suite has underfloor heating & radiator/towel rail and leads off the bedroom, to provide a WC, dual sinks on a cabinet & a large walk in shower with good pressure. We provide Flannels, Bath & Hand towels and complimentary toiletries. The price also includes a supply of tea, coffee, sugar and milk on arrival alongside locally sourced welcome goodies relative to length of stay (home made cakes or similar). We also supply all necessary detergents and many additional items to keep the cottage cosy & comfortable. Number Five is unsuitable accommodation for toddlers & children due to its open plan lay-out. Babies 6 months & younger are welcome and we can provide a travel cot & high chair for no extra charge. The cottage is non-smoking & unsuitable for guest pets.More

Excellent cottage in central location. Very traditional cotswold cottage but with all modern amenities in first class condition. Highly recommended and would book again, with first class communication with Sally. The Easter treats also a nice touch!More

Number Five is situated in the very centre of Chipping Campden. All pubs, restaurants, independent shops & footpaths are within a very short walking distance. The nearest coffee shop which also serves breakfasts & light lunches is in The Old Silk Mill which is just a few steps away and the nearest grocery store for provisions/off licence, newspapers etc is just a 5 minute stroll.
Getting around
Chipping Campden is on a regular bus route between Moreton in Marsh and Stratford upon Avon which enables guests to take the Paddington Line from London, and pick up the bus to arrive in Chipping Campden. During the stay, this route also makes visiting Shakespeares home Stratford upon Avon an easy option. Full details and information can be given on request.
