About the neighbourhood
Number Six is situated on Sheep Street in the very centre of Chipping Campden. All pubs, restaurants, independent shops & footpaths are within a very short walking distance. The beautiful and historic High Street of Chipping Campden is just steps away from the front door, and in the other direction a short 5 minute stroll leads into the Westington area famous for its gorgeous thatched cottages. The neighbouring village of Broad Campden where you will find the Bakers Arms Pub (BBC drama Father's Pub!) is walkable in no approx 30 minutes. There are many places nearby for Breakfast / Brunch or just a coffee if you prefer to sit and watch the world go by!
Getting around
Chipping Campden is on a regular bus route between Moreton in Marsh and Stratford upon Avon which enables guests to take the Paddington Line from London, and pick up the bus to arrive in Chipping Campden. During the stay, this route also makes visiting Shakespeares home Stratford upon Avon an easy option. Full details and information can be given on request. We can also help with recommendations of local tours car hire and taxi contacts.
