The cottage has been fitted out to a very high standard in both materials & furnishings, all the spaces are luxurious & relaxing. The building is very highly insulated with thermostatically controlled underfloor heating on the ground floor & the heating / hot water is ecologically produced from an air source heat pump.
We do want our guests to feel very much at home from the moment they arrive so we make sure you have all the basic provisions such as tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil and the like at no extra charge. Toiletries from The Bath House are also provided. For a small extra charge, we can also arrange for food & wine to be in the fridge for your arrival.

We had the perfect stay in West Didsbury - the house is great! So well thought out.
It’s a great base for Manchester (has a parking space) and lovely restaurants nearby - only a walk away.
We shall be returning again if we need a base up north.

Boutique mews cottage, West Didsbury
Location is superb, 5 min walk to cafes,fab shops and restaurants.
The cottage is the best ,as it's a home from home, so clean and beautifully presented.
Ample private parking for 2 cars.
The owner has thought of everything,wonderful stay ,5 stars plus.
The owner David is so friendly and makes you feel at home. He definitely is a superhost.
A perfect Christmas stay near to other family members,the Christmas tree and Christmas wreath a wonderful welcoming touch.
Slept so well as beds so comfy and cottage warm and cosy.

Nice stay.
Had a lovely stay at this venue, I like the touches and quality of service. It felt very homely and id definitely return. Staff very helpful and gave advice on trips and restaurants! Thank you!

Great stay
Had. A wonderful week in Manchester. Incredibly well laid out and furnished property. Quiet location but very short walk to local restaurants and shops and excellent access to major attractions by public transport or car.

Home from Home
Perfect place to put ones feet up after a tiring day. Appreciated the thoughtful space making/design of the cottage as well as the attention to detail. The host David was most welcoming and helpful. Really felt as if we were on holiday even though it was during the working week! Recommended would book again in a flash.

Loved it!
Loved our stay, cottage is beautiful, has everything you could want/need. There are lovely amenities close by and the tram station is a 5 minute walk away which was great for getting into Manchester. Couldn't fault it at all.

Great host, great house, great location!
From our first enquiry, David has been super helpful and was there to greet us on arrival. The cottage is a delight and a tribute to his attention to detail - with high spec fittings throughout and everything finished to a high standard. There are quirky details everywhere making it a real home from home. The location is also perfect with the tram and a selection of independent restaurants all within a few minutes' walk. Highly recommended.

Everything you could ask for
129 is a beautiful property located in the perfect spot and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing visit to Manchester. The place is beautifully decorated, the beds and bedlinen feel luxurious, David is on hand for any queries you might have. We had a fantastic stay and would recommend the place without hesitation.

Birthday Weekend
Had a lovely weekend for my Sisters birthday. The Cottage is beautifully designed and absolutely spotless. Location couldn’t be better, Didsbury has a great selection of bars & restaurants if you decide to stay local. David is a thoughtful and friendly host and couldn’t do enough for us. Can’t wait to visit again and can highly recommend.

A stylish bolt hole conveniently located
The location of this gorgeous cottage was a gem in itself - just a 10 minute walk from the tram stop to take you direct to the city centre with an equal distance to access international travel. The wonderful setting of this accommodation also offered further options to explore country walks and the buzzing energy of West Didsbury before entering Didsbury Village with its array of individual shops and great eateries. The cottage offered all the home comforts and more with its mix of original features and contemporary styling. A wonderful place for my friend and I to catch up after a challenging year. We would definitely book it again.

West Didsbury is a very vibrant and exciting area with a real sense of community, a destination in its own right. Some of Manchester's top restaurants are located in the area and we have a fantastically eclectic mix of bars and wonderful independent shops. The river Mersey and water parks are only a short walk away and you can go walk / run / cycle along the banks or even take a canoe trip which is a great way to see the wildlife!
Getting around
West Didsbury is very conveniently located being only 5 miles from the city centre and on the tram line. We are also close to the ring road and an extensive motorway network, which puts all of Manchester and the North West easily within your grasp. Day trips can easily be taken to The Lake District, North Wales, Peak District, Yorkshire Dales, Liverpool, Chester, Leeds, York and Blackpool are all less than two hours away by car. We are also just 10 minutes away from the airport.

The cottage is easily accessible by road being less than 3km from the M60 motorway ring road which gives direct access to the motorway network (the main connecting motorways accessed off the ringroad being the M56/M6/M61/M62). Access by train is also simple, since there is a tram stop close by with a network reaching out to all of Manchester and links into the rail network. You could also fly to Liverpool Airport which is only 55km away.

The standard weekday tariff is based on a rate of £165 per night inclusive with a minimum stay of two nights, £190 per night at weekends. A seven night stay is priced at £1,085.00. Bookings in excess of seven nights are inclusive of a weekly clean and linen change. We welcome children of all ages but unfortunately not dogs. We have equipped the property to a high standard so we do also require a refundable breakage deposit of £500.00 but this will be repaid in full through Holiday Lettings / Trip Advisor within 10 working days of departure assuming no damages or breakages have occurred during the stay. The house is non-smoking and since it is located down a private road we ask you to respect the neighbours.
