Difficult to speak highly enough of this holiday destination. The property is on a country road between Madiran and Crousseilles surrounded by agricultural fields, so don't be surprised by the odd tractor passing. It is also well located to visit the Pyrenees, Biarritz and even San Sebastien over the border. The property and its hosts were the best we've experienced....

Attractive well appointed old courtyard of old buildings. Well modernised, taste and comfortable inside. Plenty of places to sit in sun or shade, distant views of Pyrenees on clear days. Crouseilles is nestled in rolling countryside filled with vineyards and fields of vivid sunflowers and towering maize. and yet despite its tranquil setting the area offers some great days out with numerous local and international festivals.<BR><BR>For those amongst you who enjoy walking and cycling then you will find numerous quite leafy lanes where tractors are the only traffic you are likely to encounter. There are excellent motorway links to the area from Biarritz, Bordeaux,Toulouse and Santander and Bilbao in Northern Spain. As Biarritz airport is just five minutes from the resort why not take to the opportunity to visit this fashionable chic resort with its incredible surfing and stunning beaches.<BR><BR>The ferry ports of Santander and Bilbao are both about four hours drive to the Madiran area.<BR><BR>The regional airports at Pau, Biarritz and Lourdes are relatively small compared with those in Bordeaux and Toulouse which makes travelling to or from them much more appealing.
