The Merchant House is spacious , built in 1872, has been tastefully updated by the present owners. Here, you will find lovely interiors that are filled with English family antiques and hand-made curtains to compliment our country furniture. The 4 bedrooms are decorated with only the finest 'Laura Ashley' linen to keep you cool in the summer, with luxurious warm duvets to keep you warm in the winter.
The two acre garden has been planted with beautiful trees and borders and provides views of the village river valley, the village church and distant hills and forests. If you are looking for the perfect place to escape, relax and explore, you have found the right place.
Indoor pool available in the summer months. This pool is not heated.

Many picturesque towns nearby including Semur en Auxois. The large cities of Beaune and Dijon are within an hour's drive of the house.
It is necessary to have a car as there is no public transport in the village.
