This is a lovely apartment ment with east and west facing balconies. Breakfast in the sunshine with a view over the newer part of the city, the marina and bay is the way to start the day.
Everything we wanted was there, and the wi-fi was a bonus, allowing us send photos home and boast about the great time we were having.
We arrived by ferry and took a taxi up the hill. The fare was €15.
We hired a car for a few of the days and visited local sites. There was plenty of parking space outside the block. A large Carrefour has recently opened a couple of km away - it can actually be seen from the balcony.
Driving in Corsica does demand a lot of concentration. In built up areas, scooters and motorbikes buzz about, often very dangerously. And once off the primary routes, the roads are frequently narrow and and in poor condition.
