Totally tranquil, the 18th converted stable is decorated with antiques and adjacent to a private swimming pool and private garden. The guest cottage has a large double bedroom with beamed ceiling and antique headboard, dresser and dressing table, two very small single bedrooms with proper beds, a large country kitchen opening on to a cozy sitting/dining room. A large completely furnished country kitchen with all amenities. Cosy sitting room with wood burning stove adjacent to open plan kitchen. On the ground floor, a substantial modern shower/bathroom with WC. There is a wood burning stove in the sitting room. Also, wifi is now available. Upstairs, a charming antique filled master bedroom and two small single bedrooms with standard one-person beds.. There is a WC in one of the single bedrooms upstairs.

Additionally, we require a 100£ damage/breakage deposit which will be returned to you within the week after your departure. There is mandatory cleaner fee of 50€ due prior to your departure. About the neighbourhood
St. Julien le Faucon is an adorable, small hamlet with a creperie, tabac and newspaper shop, a general food store, a pharmacy. It is two minutes away from the superb listed Manoir de Coupesarte and Chateau Grandchamp.

Ten minutes away is St. Pierre sur Dives, which, on Monday mornings holds one of the oldest and most famous market in Normandy. St. Pierre has a superb abbey dating back to the 12th century, even astrological symbols are carved into the church floor! The first Sunday in every month is an antique lovers paradise in St. Pierre sur Dives, with the hall and surrounding area chock a block with old furniture, linens, paintings, silver, etc.

How to get there
By car, we are 45 minutes from the Brittany Ferries terminal in Caen, 50 minutes from the LD Lines Ferry terminal in Le Havre.

From Paris, the train from Gare St. Lazare takes an hour and a half to the Lisieux train station.

Cars can be rented in Lisieux, if necessary. The drive from the Lisieux train station to our property takes approximately 20 minutes.

If one chooses to fly into Deauville, we are 45 minutes from there by car.

If travelling by Eurostar from London, one must take a cab from the Gare de Nord to the Gare St. Lazare and travel to Lisieux.
