    The apartment is on the 2nd floor of a delightful 30's bourgeois building in the heart of Cannes' Carre d'Or just behind the Majestic Hotel, a stones throw from the Palais de Festivals & sleeps six people in 3 bedrooms. (Surface area 86m2). The beautifully proportioned high ceilinged living room is wonderfully light & airy due to the full height windows that flood the room with light. There is ample seating in the sitting room & a dining area for 6. The 3 bedrooms are all of a good size. The particularly large master bedroom has an emperor bed or alternatively can be set up as two singles. The other two rooms both have super king size beds which can be made up as two single beds. Both bedrooms have access to the rear north facing balcony. Bedroom 2 has an en-suite loo (WC). There is one goose down and one duck down pillow for each guest. All the bedrooms have a Sonos zone. The are further Sonos zones in the kitchen and sitting room. The SieMatic kitchen was installed in the winter of 2013 and is simply stunning. See images above and see for yourself. It features, washer/dryer, dish washer, Miele Combination Oven and microwave.     Great for Regate Royale

    The flat was ideally located for sailing in the Regate Royale a quick walk in the morning to the boat and leisurely walk back in the evening after long days on the water. then near the restaurants

    About the neighbourhood
    Cannes combines the best of everything. A wonderful climate throughout the year, a plethora of restaurants and bars, shopping on the Croisette, the rue d'Antibes and the surrounding streets the equal or any city in the world and wonderful beaches both public and private. The city of Cannes is centred around the old port, with the central part quite compact. The famous La Croisette is the boulevard and the beach that extends around the bay to the east of the port. The area around the old port is perhaps the most interesting part of Cannes. All along the Quai St Pierre in the old port one can find fishing boats and pleasure boats side by side. Cannes has everything.
    Getting around
    The best way to see central Cannes is on foot, with everything close by. The train station is 350 metres from the apartment and from their the whole of the Cote d'Azur opens up with Monaco in the east about an hour away. If you want to visit St Tropez this can be done by ferry which takes an hour and fifteen minutes.
