There is also an unobstructed view of Chateau Hill from a separate window next to the dining area. Located on the top floor (6th floor - no lift) it is therefore very quiet whilst benefiting from a superb central location.
Would suit a romantic break for a couple or a couple with one or two small children.

Charming apartment in the heart of the old town Nice.
This apartment is on great location, only few steps from the Flower market where you can find anything you need. Also you can find many bars, restaurants or pubs in near, and the public beach is 5 minutes away,so as opera private beach. You can have stunning views on Castle hill with waterfall on one side, sea from the kitchen window and on old tow Nice from the little terrace,so you can always enjoy while drinking your coffee or vine.Apartment is equipped with everything you need, and you can also find many brochures about Cote d`Azur and especially Nice.Only little problem for overweight people as I`m is that apartment is on 5th floor without elevator of course, and many many steps, but also it is very useful not to gain few pounds because of vines and cheese and other delicious food you can find in Nice.

Excellent Location & Fantastic Views
We come to Nice several times a year and this year have decided to start and stay in apartments rather than hotels for the freedom and much less expensive. This apartment is smack bang in the old town literally a few steps from the Flower Market. For us we couldn't have a better location. The apartment is bright and tastefully decorated and with it being high up we had a nice breeze blowing through on hot days which was very welcome. Even though it's small it had all the facilities we could need including a dishwasher and washing machine. And very well stocked cupboards with all the crockery etc you could want. Now the views from this place are stunning. From one side the sea and the other the old town and mountains. The only thing I would say is this place is very high with eleven flights of stairs to reach it. It wasn't so much of a problem for me but my husband has a heart condition and he did struggle. It's not a negative just something to be aware of.

Fantastic views of Vieux Nice, sea and Col du Chateau
We have stayed in this apartment for two years because of its great location at the heart of Vieux Nice and the 360 degree views. Probably Nice's most famous market the Cours Saleya is about a minute's walk away and the sea another couple of minutes. We enjoyed an early morning swim then bought the breakfast bread, eggs and fresh fruit each day. The beach is smooth pebbles so we invested in slip on lightweight swimming shoes. Access to the tram and the Velo Bleu is equally close and that opens up the railway system. Definitely buy a weekly ticket at the airport (€15 in 2012) which covers your trip in and all other bus and tram travel for seven days. This is the perfect base if you wish to see Nice and this part of the Cote d'Azur. I need to mention the apartment is on the fifth floor hence the great views and there no lift. However, we are both in our early 60s and to be honest the climb was not onerous even when laden with food and several bottles of the wonderful local wine, which can be bought in the cave just round the corner in Rue de la Prefecture.
Everything you could need including helpful guidebooks is provided and we used the cooking facilities every day as the food is so cheap and fresh in the market. The appartment has a wonderful bespoke double bed with a bunk area for another person and there is a cosy settee which could be used for sleeping.
We definitely hope to go back again at some time. In Nice I would recommend climbing the Col du Chateau and nearby Mont Boron for the views, hiring a Velo Bleu to ride down the 5Km Promenade des Anglais and if you have the time taking the train up into the mountains to Digne and/or along the coast to Menton and Monaco. Lovely journeys.

All fantastic - the apartment has been beautifully renovated and despite it's size, has everything you could ask for. We really enjoyed our week here. Thank you very much.
