You also have a great selection of restaurants to choose from all around the port area and in the nearby old town of Nice. For shopping there is a great choice in the department stores, the designer shops and gift shops of Nice.
Local markets are held in Nice and in Villefranche. The most well known is held in the ‘Cours Saleya’ in Nice, adjacent to the old town, and offers an array of olives, flowers and fresh produce. There is also an antiques market held here on a Monday.
