You wake up on a beautiful morning in Provence. You walk over to the French doors which open on to your bedroom terrace and you step outside. There, across the valley in front of you, bathed in the morning sunlight are the medieval ramparts, the church tower and the mellow stone houses of St. Paul de Vence – one of the most beautiful “Village Perche” in the South of France. Another sun blessed Provence day stretches ahead with the anticipation of a stroll into the village to have croissants and coffee or perhaps to bring some croissants and fresh baked baguettes back to enjoy a leisurely breakfast on the terrace or in your private courtyard garden at Apartment Arabane. This luxury two bedroom apartment is situated in the gated, private domaine of “Les Arabanes” – ideally located on the e...You wake up on a beautiful morning in Provence. Conveniently located just 20 minutes from Nice airport and the coast St. Paul de Vence enjoys an international reputation as the village of art and artists. It is a beautifully preserved medieval village surrounded on all sides by ancient ramparts offering spectacular views of the surrounding countryside and the coast. Its narrow streets, nearly all pedestrianized and filled with art galleries and other beautiful shops and restaurants, wind their way around the village to the historic church at the top.
A car is the best way to visit the area to ensure you get the most out of your stay. However, st. Paul de Vence does have a very good bus service that will take you to the main local towns and railway station.
