If you like the idea of staying in an ancient stone cottages then this quaint Bergerie is perfect for you. If you want to escape your cold winters and take a long-term let you can do just that. Emerse yourself in the wonderful culture that captivated world famous artists and writers or if you want to paint or write yourself, then this is the perfect bolt hole. <BR>The cottage is booked out in July & August each year but it available to rent any other time.
La Vieille Bergerie has a large living room which leads out to your own terrace from where you can either eat al fresco or have an aperitif. There's a small kitchen for light cooking and upstairs is a double bedroom with a four-poster bed, separate bathroom and balcony with stunning views of the Med and cap d'Antibes. It's the perfect get-a-away for short or long-term lets. A lovely rural setting that's still close to the town of Vence.

Vence - city of Arts - is situated in the Alpes-Maritime department of France, between the Mediterranean and the mountains. <BR><BR>The natural splendour of this historical town is world renowned for its serenity and glorious light, which so inspired artists such as Dufy, Matisse, Chagall and Dubuffet. <BR><BR>Vence is full of galleries and there are frequent outdoor exhibits in the summertime. <BR><BR>Remnants of the 13th century wall with its five gateways that have been artfully preserved. Vence was an important Roman town and Roman artifacts can be found in the old town.<BR><BR><BR>
