Lovely traditional house in the center of a well-preserved village with inside and outside terrace. Very quiet village for relaxing and fresh air in summer thanks to stone walls. The village is surrounded by vineyards and stone throws away form the first climbs to Mt Ventoux. Bicycle ready with closed basement and bike wash. The house offers 3 bedrooms. On the first floor the wide bedroom (28 square meter) offers a direct access to the inner courtyard. It has a comfortable double bed, TNT HD TV, wood stove and a separate water access. On the upper floor you'll find 2 bedrooms. The first one is the brightest and widest of all (30 square meter) with view on the Dentelles-du-Montmirail. It offers a comfortable double bed, a separate water access and a wood stove. The second room is smaller ...Lovely traditional house in the center of a well-preserved village with inside and outside terrace. The second room is smaller (14 square meter) but has a dedicated bathroom. It offers of course another double bed. The rooms are newly painted with local techniques and has enough comfort for a pleasant stay. Enjoy the fresh, under shade terrace in hot summertimes or take a typical breakfast on the front terrace with direct access to the kitchen and appreciate the atmosphere of a typical provençal village life with friendly and helpful neighbors. Parking lots available at the front of the house. The village has a real soul, with no touristic invasion. There is a postal office, a little restaurant and a barber. Bédoin is 3km away, and Carpentras 9km. You can rent a car directly at the Avignon railway station or get a bus to Carpentras and book a taxi for 15-20€ to the village. Don't hesitate to ask for great bike tours and/or for secret singletrails! I'm an avid cyclist and I can't tell you how much the Mont Ventoux is a gold mine for any sort of such activities.More

About the neighbourhood
The house is in the heart of the small Provencal village of Saint-Pierre-de-Vassols, located at the foot of the Mont Ventoux (1,911m). The village is surrounded by vineyards, pines, olive and fruit trees. It is a charming village that has retained it's peaceful Provencal rhythm. The fertile and hilly surrounding area offers beautiful routes for walking and cycling, and climbing sites.
How to get there
The village of Bédoin is 5 km, Carpentras 10 km and Avignon 30 km away. You can rent a car at the Avignon train station or take a bus to Carpentras and book a taxi for € 15-20 to reach the village. The house is located in the old village center. At the chirch level there are 2 small streets on the opposite side of the main village crossing street. Take the lower one. GPS 44° 6.088', 5° 8.195'
