Chalet la Moraine is a wonderful self catering chalet in the beautiful Chamonix valley. Set in a large garden with parking for up to 6 cars. The Chalet is in a stunning location with views from every window up and down the Chamonix valley (especially from the enormous southerly facing deck and balcony up to Mont Blanc).The 5 bedrooms all with ensuite or private bathrooms can be made up as either superking doubles or 2 large singles. Chalet facilities include; open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen, free wifi, Satellite TV (full Sky package in the lounge including movies and sport), beautiful log burner and supply of logs for cosy evenings and a huge DVD collection. This floor also has a separate large sauna suite and its own shower. The large Arctic Spa hot tub on the deck has amazing views up to Mont Blanc.

A winter in the Chamonix Valley offers amazing world class skiing across the valley and the longest off-piste run in the world at Vallee Blanche. As well as skiing and snowboarding there are lots of other winter activities on offer from ice-skating to huski sledge rides!
The summer offers some of the best mountain climbing in the world together with amazing snow-capped mountain scenery, the perfect backdrop for hiking, mountain biking, paragliding and a whole host of other activities.

It is about a 9 hour drive from Calais - motorways the whole way to the valley which makes the drive pretty straight forward.
We overnight in Reims (plenty of hotel options and a few hours from Calais) when we drive to Chamonix from the UK but we have also done the drive straight through.
