Located in possibly the most enviable location in Chamonix, with the garden overlooking the river l'Arve and facing Mont Blanc, and in the middle of all the shops, restaurants and bars, Apartment Pothecary is one of our most popular properties. It is is extremely spacious at 120m2, with a huge living room with 3 full size sofas and two matching armchairs, an entertainment area with 43 inch flatscreen TV (SKY, surround sound, DVD player etc) and an ipod dock, WiFi internet access and a second TV and DVD player to boot. There are 3 good sized bedrooms (One double and two twins sleeping 6) as well as one of the sofas in the living room which converts into a sofabed in the living room, therefore sleeping 8 people very comfortably. The sunny that backs onto the river is private and has table and chairs and splendid views of Mont Blanc.

Having stayed in many apartments in the Chamonix Valley Pothecary is without doubt the best.Bang in the centre of town less than a stones throw from shops,restaurants,cafes and bars.The apartment is open plan with well equipt kitchen and doors that open onto a private garden...More

We stayed in April 2013 and found the property to have lots of space and ideally located right in the centre of Chamonix behind the Chanel shop. Please note there is no oven in this property just a hob and microwave although we didn't find...More

Rates include one full set of bed linen & towels, electricity, meet & greet at the accommodation on arrival, local tourist tax and tourist guest cards giving you free transport on local buses and trains as well as other local discounts.

We require 30% deposit to secure the booking, with the remainder due 8 weeks prior to your arrival.

In addition as security for damages we hold credit card details on file or a post dated cheque which we do not cash and is returned to you once the accommodation has been checked after your departure.

About the neighbourhood
Historic Chamonix is a cosmopolitan town full of life and incredible scenery. In addition to the Ski season for which it is famous, there are hundreds of shops, countless restaurants, bars, clubs and a casino. There is also the sports centre with indoor and outdoor pools, ice rink, rock climbing, paragliding, water rafting, mountain bike trails and an 18 hole golf course. Theres always plenty to do for the children too. Chamonix also has a the highest cable car in Europe to take you to the top of Mont Blanc and the Montenvers train to visit the Sea of Ice glacier and ice grotto. Plus cinema, Alpine Museum and a local market on Saturday morning - selling a wide range of local produce.
