- 1st floor, very quiet, unobstructed greenery, chalets and a low-rise building on the west side view.

Absolutely fantastic apartment in every way. Perfectly situated close to the train station, bus station and town centre. Lovely clean apartment with everything we needed. For me kitchens and bathrooms are a big thing and they were both modern and clean so you felt clean...More

About the neighbourhood
Chamonix is also home to the Vallee Blanche, probably the most famous off-piste run down over the glaciers that descend from the Mont Blanc. The streets of the old town are a mix of old world elegance with French charm and the cobbled pedestrian centre, with a river that runs through it, is compact and easily accessible. The town is busy and has lively nightlife with shops selling everything from ski gear to high end jewellery and watches. It is home to an excellent array of restaurants, bars and late night bars/clubs to guarantee the excitement is not just confined to the slopes. For those looking for a more relaxing apres scene there is a cinema, a bowling alley, an ice rink and a large sports centre with an indoor pool.
Getting around
Directly in Center town, 5 minutes walk from every restaurants, bars, shops and supermarket, 300 meters from Aiguille du Midi cable car. Balcony facing to Mont-Blanc. You are located 50 meters from the free center town shuttle stop 'THE MULET' to reach in 5 minutes the terminal bus station. You will find there all free shuttles for all the ski resorts of the Chamonix Valley.
How to get there
- BY ROAD: Direct access by motorway E25 - A40 connected to the European road network. • 16 km from Switzerland via the Col des Montets • 15 km from Italy via the Mont Blanc tunnel. - TRAIN: TGV lines Paris: Paris - Annecy, Lyon or Bellegarde, or Chambéry - Aix Les Bains or Saint Gervais Bains - Le Fayet (certain times of the year) • Connections by the Regional Express Train to Saint Gervais Les Bains. - PLANE: Chamonix is 98 km from Geneva airport, Lyon-Saint-Exupéry airport and 171 km from Turin-Caselle airport. - Numerous shuttles daily by bus from Geneva airport which you will find on the website of the Tourist Office. Turin Airport By bus company SAVDA - Lyon Airport by train. - TAXI : for 250 € the way (address on request).
