Chalet location:
The town is a short 300m walk. Chamonix is a busy town and has a multitude of shops, bars and restaurants.
There is a BioSupermarket, ski rental shop and bar all very close to the Chalet, and a larger supermarket and multiple bars, shops and restaurants a short 5 mins walk.
A spa/suana is 7 mins walk and the main bus stop of Chamonix Sud a 5 min walk.


Skiing :
10 mins walk from Le Brevent ski area and 15 mins to the l'Aiguille du Midi.
The skiing in the Chamonix Valley is spread over 5 main ski areas. There is a regular bus service included in the lift pass, which runs between these areas.

Getting around
The chalet is in a great location - with easy access by foot to the shops and restaurants. There is a bus service that will take you up and down the Chamonix valley. This is free with a ski pass and the Chamonix Sud bus station is 5 minutes walk from the chalet.

There is also a train that runs to various locations. The main train station is in town - a 10 minute walk from the chalet and there is a local train stop called Les Pecles et Mousseux - just a few minutes walk from the chalet.

The closest airport is Geneva airport, 90km from Chamonix. There are multiple operators offering easy and cheap transport from Geneva airport to Chamonix. They will drop off and collect from the chalet. Please contact me for further information.

Driving from Geneva airport takes around 90 minutes and the route is dual carriageway all the way to Chamonix.

Within the resort there are buses which travel up and down the valley and are free with a ski pass. There is a main bus terminal at Chamonix Sud (600m) a 7 min walk.

The Les Moussoux train station is 3 minutes from the chalet and the main station in Chamonix is a 15 min walk.
