The Oderberger Strasse is in the heart of the hip, vibrant district of Prenzlauer Berg, bordering on artistic, cosmopolitan Mitte. It is a very lively yet very relaxed street that offers the distinctively bohemian vibe Prenzlauer Berg has been made famous for. Artsy cafés, quaint boutiques and laid back restaurants make it a favorite destination of locals and visitors alike.

The apartment is in a restored 1900's building and has a balcony with a superb view over the entire street. You can watch the people stroll up and down the Kastanienallee while having coffee in the morning or the sun set over the Mauerpark while sipping a glass of wine in the evening.

The owner, Lena, made the booking transactions quite straightforward and provided clear instructions prior to the stay for all methods of transport to travel to the apartment. We loved our month long stay in this apartment. It was bright clean and warm with plenty of space and storage. Lena was very helpful and informative, and made the arrival and booking process very easy. Everything is exactly as advertised. The apartment is spacious, well equipped and clean. 4th floor walk up on a beautiful street cluttered with excellent restaurants and coffee houses. Prenzlauer Berg is the epicenter of the hip, artistic, urban-bohemian new Berlin. Wikipedia writes: “Countless pubs, restaurants, cafés, galleries and little shops create a day and nightlife atmosphere unrivaled in the rest of Berlin. Prenzlauer Berg is one of the most popular districts in Berlin, is one of Berlin's prettiest neighborhoods, still central, yet quieter than Berlin Mitte”.

Berlin landmarks such as the Alexanderplatz with the emblematic TV Tower, the UNESCO world heritage site of the Museum Island or the shoppers' mecca of the Hackescher Markt are just a 15-20 minute walk, whereas an excellent public transport network will take you to all the major Berlin sights within 5-15 minutes.
