We are on the western outskirts of Berlin. Typical small one -family home built in 1936 on the then newly developed 'Siedlung' outside Berlin. Here you can: first and obove all come down and relax, hiking, cycling in the countryside and then: Berlin: culture, sports, history Potsdam: the castles Schoenwalde-Glien: sand, pine trees, beeches, gardens, moor, and an endless sky; perfect light for artists , a change for a change from a standard holiday. The house coms with a an overgrown garden about double the size of today plots. The street is still unpaved, the neighbors are friendly and helpfull if need arises. To the Berlin -Border it is 5 Minutes by car, to Berlin-Spandau about 20 and to Berlin-Mitte about a 50 Minutes drive. Bus Station 5 Min (footpath). Supermarket as well. About the neighbourhood
The 'Perwenitzer Straße' is a little frequented sandy track. At night you may hear a fox or an owl or the wind in the trees. The busy main road is about 400 meters away and, depending on the wind direction, one sometimes can hear the traffic. The neighbours' house to the left is about 10 meters away. To the south the garden is cosily enclosed by a newly built one-family-home with mainly functional rooms to our side. In the West there is a large Garden and to the North across the road is an empty plot. Most homes in the neighbourhood are inhabitated all year round, so you will be welcome as a 'temporary neighbour'.
