There are five bedrooms. Three of them on the main floor (Olea, Lavender and Rosemary's bedroom) and the other two on the top floor (Kentia and Jasmine's bedroom). There are 4 double beds (big size 160 to 200) and a bunk in Jasmine's bedroom and also 4 extra beds just in case you would be fourteen people.
There are four bathrooms (three of them en suite) and one guest toilet.
The living room has a free Satellite TV and an inner courtyard with tropical plants. There is an exit to the barbecue's area and a large terrace with outdoor table and chairs. The living room also offers a comfortable seating area. Dinning room's table for 12 people is appropriate for family and friends meals.
Bedrooms on the top floor (Kentia's Master bedroom and Jasmine Kids) have individual terraces with stunning views of the surroundings (old town and Pyrenees mountains).
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, hob and induction, Bosch coffee machine, Nespresso, toaster..
La Magrana es una casa con encanto en la ciudad de Girona que permite disfrutar de la tranquilidad de la zona donde se encuentra situada, con su piscina privada y jardines mientras que también está a escasos minutos del casco antiguo. La casa tiene una capacidad de hasta 14 personas, dispone de 5 habitaciones y 5 baños. Tiene 3 terrazas, una de las cuales con barbacoa y mesa exterior que permite disfrutar de largas veladas. Toda la casa tiene calefacción, aire acondicionado y Wifi gratuito.
La Magrana, es una casa muy acogedora situada en la tranquila urbanización de Montjuïch de la ciudad de Girona con vistas que abarcan desde los Pirineos catalanes en el horizonte hasta el pulmón verde de la ciudad, una arboleda de plátanos, denominado Parc de la Devesa de Girona y las históricas Catedral de Girona e Iglésia de San Feliu erigidas en el casco antiguo de la ciudad.
Casa amplia y diáfana que dispone de cinco espaciosas habitaciones y cinco baños con capacidad para catorce personas, perfectamente acomodada para disfrutar de una estancia gratificante y relajada. La cocina está equipada con todos los electrodomésticos y enseres necesarios a tal fin. También dispone de comedor con mesa para catorce comensales junto al salón-estar donde se puede disfrutar de una zona de lectura o bien disfrutar de un cálido espacio con gran sofá junto al calor de la chimenea y el televisor. Todo ello a la luz del patio interior de plantas tropicales de la casa que aporta serenidad y relax a la estancia.
La Magrana cuenta con una piscina exterior privada y tres terrazas con salida desde las habitaciones y zona de estar que permiten disfrutar de espectaculares y vivificantes vistas al casco antiguo de la ciudad y a la Devesa de Girona. Además está rodeada de zonas ajardinadas y de frescos árboles frutales que te hacen sentir en plena naturaleza.

La Magrana is dog friendly.
Stays longer than two nights, the owner reserves the right to do the outdoor essential maintenance like in the swimming pool or the garden, always discreetly with the guests privacy.
Smoking is not allowed but you have various terraces (two are covered patios) where you can smoke in comfort.
The swimming pool is not available during the winter months from November to March.
Fiestas are allowed on the outdoors but the noise level must be controlled within normal limits

Great place that easily accommodated our group of 9. Excellent starting point for cycling, but be prepared for a kilometer of 12% climbing at the end of every ride. The walk into old town Girona is 25 minutes and steep, but the bus runs frequently and stops very close to the house for just 1 Euro (and accepts credit cards). Overall, highly recommended for a large group and/or as a base for cyclists.

An amazing stay - clean house, beautiful surroundings and great host
Everything went totally smooth! The owner contacted me the day before arrival to arrange delivery of the key. He also came by to show us around the house. He was easy to get in touch with, very polite and also had some recommendations for things to do in girona, which was great😎
Overall the house looked as expected from the pictures. Although some things were a little worn down - such as the wood by the pool and also the tiles in the pool. It was nothing the bothered us though.
The house was perfectly clean upon arrival and as a group of 12 people we needed extra beds which was also taken care of.
We had no car during the stay but we found the walk to both the city center and a supermarket short and not too hard.
We are definitely considering booking this villa for future trips to Girona 😊

A very nice villa for a large group near the historic center of Girona!
Excellent host! We have stayed with our family of 11 persons. Although the weather was bad, we have had a great time. With the pool and table tennis and a walking distance to the historic center, this is really a nice villa to stay!

Gran experiencia
Muy buena experiencia, casa muy cómoda para 13 personas. Exteriores con barbacoa y mesa grande para disfrutar del buen tiempo. Buenas vistas a Girona, a 15 minutos del centro pero a la vez aislado y sin ruidos.

Great house in Girona
Great house. I had a great stay there. We enjoyed the tranquility very much. Great view and tranquility. House is super clean. Louis is super nice and is there for you if you have any questions, highly recommended.

Fantastisch huis gehuurd
Met een grote famile gezelschap gelogeerd in la Magrana. Wat een mooi huis, sfeer, rust en ruimte. Alles is ruim de kamers zijn super mooi ingericht de bedden slapen heerlijk. De tuin het zwembad alles was aanwezig. Zelfs granaatappels aan een boom. Hoog in de bergen wat mijn schrik was om elke keer naar boven te rijden maar goed te doen. Centrum op 5 minuten afstand met de auto. Bus die je naar een bakkerij brengt als je een keer zou willen wandelen.
Mooi weer gehad en zelfs kunnen zonnen in de tuin.
Lluis de eigenaar erg aardige man die zelfs na 24:00 uur klaarstond om ons op te vangen nadat ons vlucht geannuleerd was en daarna verlaat was.
Daar stond hij om ons om 00:30 uur nog rond te leiden in het huis.
Klaar met tips waar en wat we zouden kunnen doen tijdens onze vakantie. Top eigenaar!!!
Plek ligt centraal met de auto ben je met gemiddeld een uur overal waar je wilt zijn.
Erg genoten.
Dank je wel Lluis voor je gastvrijheid.

Girona stay
Great stay in this villa overlooking Girona which we used as base camp for our cycling trip. Perfectly located on the hill above Girona which was within walking distance of the centre of the town and 10 minutes from a supermarket. The villa was very clean and well equipped, and had all the facilities needed and more.
Lluis the landlord could not have been more helpful and was on call to help/ support when needed, he also provided lots of tips or places to eat.
Hope to stay again and would highly recommend 👍

Fantastic house in Girona
Lluis’s house in Girona was perfect for our family group - so comfortable and perfectly positioned. We had some relaxing days round the pool as well as being able to walk into town or get the bus easily. Girona is beautiful! Lluis could not have been more helpful and accommodating, he kindly organised a taxi for us to go to a wedding outside Girona - nothing was too much trouble for him. We had the most wonderful relaxing time and would happily come back! Thank you so much Lluis!

Amazing stay in Girona
With a family of 5 adults and 4 kids we had high expectations of the villa, and all expectations were met! The stay was perfect and the villa accommodates a large family perfectly. The pool is a great feature and during the Catalan heat wave offers great relief. The host Luis is amazing as well with great tips for a lovely stay. Communication with him was on point every time. Because of the location (on a hill overlooking Girona) you really do need a car, but if you wanted you could walk to town for 15 minutes. The area itself is quite and offers all necessary amenities within a short drive/walk. We hope to be back in the future and highly recommend this villa for anyone looking to enjoy Catalonia.

The owner, Lluis, could not have been more gracious!
The villa was exactly as advertised: spacious and comfortable. We were an extended Canadian family of six visiting Spain to cycle and tour. Lluis is a fabulous landlord and helped us in so many ways. He suggested places to visit, arranged for a guided tour, recommended restaurants, showed us where to shop for groceries, etc. No request seemed too silly and he replied promptly. He goes above and beyond what one would expect and we happily recommend him and his charming villa to everyone who wants to experience the history and beauty of Catalonia and of Girona in particular. The house's privileged location allow guests to access the most important places and best restaurants in the historical city center within few minutes walking distance. There is a shortcut from the house which allows you enjoy the ride to the city. The house combines the best aspects of a short walk to the city center with the calm and quiet of the neighborhood. La Magrana is located on a hill which allows you to enjoy the stunning views from the house to the city and the beauty of the landscape (also snow-covered Pyrenees in winter).
Within few minutes walking distance from the house there are a cafe and a nice bakery (open on Sundays), an small supermarket, a pharmacy and a petrol station.
Getting around
If you're coming by car, you have 480 parking spots (for free), right below the hill where La Magrana is located. You'll be in the historical city center within 5 minutes walking.
Girona city is well-connected with Barcelona by High Speed Train. You can get the bus (Line #1) from the house and within 15 minutes you will be in the Central Train Station.
If you're coming without car, a short walk down hill to the city's main square is a good chance but the return should be done by bus (#1) or by taxi because the house is located in a hill. The bus runs every 15 minutes during weekly days and there are two bus stops within 2 minutes from the house. I will bring you the bus schedule and will provide you with another info you could need.

How to get there
If you're coming by car from Barcelona's Airport or France, the best way to reach La Magrana is by the highway AP7. When you arrive to Girona take the exit 6B (which is sign posted Girona O). In this way, you don't have to go through the city.
There's plenty of free parking in front of the house but also inside. The neighborhood is safe so both options are equally.
