We are in the heart of the heart of Rome. Lost among the thousand alleys that lead to the market of Campo de 'Fiori and Piazza Navona, Trastevere and the Jewish Ghetto, where the old shops alternate with the noble palaces. Every corner of this neighborhood hides a treasure and can not but excite and amaze the observer, as it happens by passing the Arch of the Acetari of Via del Pellegrino, entering the majestic Piazza Navona from one of the side streets or watching the sunset sky from Ponte Sant'Angelo with the view of the Dome of St. Peter in the background. As you may have guessed we are in the historic center of the city, a few meters from the square of Campo dei Fiori and a few minutes walk from the most important places of historical and cultural interest. Piazza Navona, Castel Sant'Angelo, San Pietro and the Pantheon are just some of the places that can be reached with short and pleasant walks. We are on the second floor of an ancient seventeenth century building, with great architectural value of the facades. The faded frescoes on the main façade are one of the rare examples of Italian painting from the 1600s. The apartment consists of a spacious open kitchen, equipped with every comfort, including dishwasher, fridge, freezer, classic oven and microwave. There are two bedrooms, one with a bathroom with a shower. A second bathroom with a shower and a living room with a sofa complete the apartment. The apartment can accommodate a total of 2 guests. It is also equipped with free Internet access, air conditioning, a washing machine, a TV in the living room and another in the master bedroom. The apartment has received an important renovation. During the course of the work the ancient structure of the building has come to light, as can be seen in the coffered ceiling of the bedroom, where there are still some small floral details frescoed or, above all, in the wall that separates the kitchen from the living room. In this Roman brick wall, a large original stone frieze from Roman times was found, probably a remnant of a temple decoration. To ensure guests peace of mind, double glazed windows have been installed. This is an apartment of great value, where in the ancient details of the original structure, has been added a modern and welcoming decor, which thanks to the white tones makes the room very bright. In the same building there are also apartments AP07 CAMPO DE FIORI I and AP57 CAMPO DE FIORI III. It is therefore possible to rent these apartments together to groups or families who want each their independence.More

The apartment was great for four people--two bedrooms and two baths. The stairway to the apartment was filthy, with people in the other apartments leaving their garbage on the stairs near the door. By the end of our stay it stunk. The entrance was near...More

The apartment is very nice, comfortable and clean; there is enough room for 4 people, a bit tight for 5. Great neighborhood - close enough to all major tourist attractions (we walked everywhere except for the train station and the airport) and nice restaurants/shops. Pack...More

Additional amenities & feature info
Campo de’ Fiori II apartment, in the heart of Rome The vacation apartment Campo De’ Fiori II lies directly in the area of the same name. It is composed of two bedrooms, two baths, a kitchenette and a living room. During the recent renovations some antique architectural elements, such as the frescoes on the ceiling and original bricks on the walls, have been preserved. The squares Campo de Fiori and Piazza Navona are at a short walking distance from this splendid apartment. The apartment is situated on the second floor of a 17th century palazzo of great architectural prestige, fronted by a magnificent façade whose faded frescoes are rare examples of the finest 17th century Italian artwork. The apartment is composed of a spacious open plan kitchen fitted with all mod cons including dishwasher, fridge, freezer, traditional oven and microwave, two double bedrooms, one of which has an en suite bathroom with shower, a bathroom with shower and a sitting room with double sofa bed (160 cm x 190 cm). The apartment can sleep up to 6 guests. The apartment is also equipped with free WI FI access, air conditioning, washing machine and two TVs, one in the sitting room and the other in the master bedroom. During the restoration works, many features of the ancient building were rediscovered and enhanced. Indeed, the lacunar ceiling of the bedroom decorated with tiny floral frescoes and, above all, the wall of Roman brickwork which divides the kitchen from the sitting room are just two examples of the original features of the apartment which have been recently brought back to light. The wall between the kitchen and the sitting room is also decorated with an original stone frieze dating back to Roman times, presumably the remains of the decoration of a temple. In order to ensure the peace and quiet of the guests, all the windows of the apartment are double glazed. The details of the original structure of this highly prestigious apartment contrast perfectly with the modern interior decoration which, thanks to the use of subtle shades of white, gives the entire environment an extremely bright and airy ambiance. Our AP07 CAMPO DE FIORI I and AP57 CAMPO DE FIORI III apartment, which can both accommodate up to 5 people, are also located in the same palazzo. It is thus possible for groups or families who wish to visit Rome together whilst nevertheless retaining their independence and privacy to rent two or all three of these apartments together. Additional amenities include: radio-cd hi fi, linen/towels, a/c in all rooms, free wi fi, heating, iron and ironing board, bed linen, TV lcd sat, lift, wc with bidet, autonomous central heating, hairdryer.
