About the neighbourhood
The Trieste district is named after one of the few courses in Rome, the sinuous Trieste course that crosses more than half, and, like many other neighborhoods with about a century of existence, is a transition area between the center Historic and the most modern and messy suburbs. Trieste has a rather wealthy residential area, though less pronounced than Parioli or Pinciano, and has some discontinuity within it: the most elegant area is around the Coppedè Quarter and in the immediate vicinity of Corso Trieste. The northernmost part ('African Quarter', from the names of the streets inspired by the former Italian colonies) has a less elite character, albeit not very popular.
