Our apartment is located in a quiet area, convenient for reaching the Piazza Principe station and the historic center. It consists of a bright living room / kitchen, a spacious bedroom, and a bathroom with shower, and comes with all the essential comforts to make you feel at home. It is an ideal solution for couples, but is also perfect for a family. It located in an ancient ‘creuza’, as the Genoese people call the pedestrian streets that connect the sea to the hills. The most convenient way to enjoy the particular tranquility and atmosphere of this narrow street, characterized by red brick tiled steps, is to always take it downhill. The most convenient way to enjoy the particular tranquility and atmosphere of this narrow street, characterized by red brick tiled steps, is to always take it downhill. Reaching the apartment will be easy if you follow these directions: take the bus No. 35 (from Principe station get off at the Arsenale di terra / Principe FS stop towards S. Francesco da Paola). After 7 stops (about 10 minutes) get off at the Napoli2 / Saporiti stop. Then keep walking for about 30 meters in the direction of the bus, and cross the street. The house is in Salita Oregina: just go down this road and after 4 minutes you will be home. To reach the center, or to head towards the Old Harbor, from the courtyard of the building just walk down towards the Lanterna in front of you, to find yourself in a few minutes at the Principe station, where you will find all trains to the main Italian cities. We also offer to our guests truly authentic experiences to live like a local. If interested, visit our website wonderfulitaly.eu or contact us and we will be more than happy to help you out designing an unforgettable holiday to discover Italian beauties. Genoa, well-known port city and capital of Liguria region, is historically known for its important role in maritime trade over the past centuries. Known as one of the most extensive medieval historical centers in Europe, the heart of Genoa is a maze of alleys that unexpectedly open up into small squares, often related, like the churches overlooking them, to important noble families. The spirit of Genoa lies in the alleys, where different smells, tastes, languages and cultures perfectly blend in. In the historical center is the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, in Romanesque style with a black and white striped façade and frescoed interiors. Narrow streets lead to monumental squares such as the Piazza de Ferrari, with its characteristic bronze fountain, and the Carlo Felice opera house. The Genoa aquarium, the largest in Europe, is unmissable and iconic. The exhibition itinerary shows more than 70 environments and about 12,000 specimens of 600 species, coming from all the seas of the world. An unforgettable experience for young and old, which will fill your heart with emotions and a deeper respect for the sea and its extraordinary inhabitants. Not to be missed is Genoa’s culinary tradition, with its iconic basil pesto, famous all over the world, and the “focaccia”, which can be either salted and topped with olives, onion and tomato, or even sweet and stuffed.
