Furnished with elegant sofas, tables and chairs, this amazing terrace is an ideal and exclusive place where you can relax and enjoy the cool in the hot summer evenings, after a hectic day exploring Florence.
The apartment is a short walk from the Natural History Museum La Specola, in one of the most historic streets of Florence, that despite the years has changed its appearance, has maintained its village atmosphere vein that you still can feel.
This is the most authentic area of the city, where the old Florentine traditions continue to live with their traditional shops, handcrafts, and where you can still see the work of different artists and artisans.
We are also very close to the new and vibrant Florentine "nightlife", with its many restaurants/taverns, pubs and caffés, that come alive especially in summer on the squares and streets with their outdoor tables.
Here you can enjoy the best Tuscan dishes either for an informal lunch, or for a romantic dinner.
Ideal for couples or families with children, the neighborhood has everything you might need during your stay.
Within a walking distance you can find: banks, pharmacies, bars, bakeries, ice cream shops, pizzerias, typical and ethnic restaurants, supermarkets, hairdresser, laundry, bus stop, children's playground.
Within 300 meters you will find:
Museo della Specola, Giardino di Boboli, Porta Romana, Porta San Frediano, Santo Spirito (with its typical markets), Giardino Torrigiani, Palazzo Pitti, Piazza del Carmine.
Crossing the Arno river, you can reach by walking in a few minutes:

For our guests arriving by car we have a special agreement with a garage at just 5 minutes walking distance from the apartment, where you can park the car and forget about it, since everything you need is just a couple of blocks away!

Situato in via Romana, all’interno di uno storico edificio la cui recente ristrutturazione ha mantenuto il fascino degli ampi corridoi di passaggio, dei giardini e delle terrazze interne, l’appartamento è luminoso e tranquillo poiché non affaccia sulla strada.
Arredato con raffinatezza, elegante, di design, e con tutti i comfort, offre agli ospiti due belle camere da letto, un ampio soggiorno con un comodo divano, tv e zona pranzo, una moderna cucina attrezzata di tutto ciò che può servire per preparare e gustare con tranquillità la colazione, il pranzo o la cena, ogni volta che vorrete, e un bel bagno con ampia cabina doccia.
L’esclusività di questo appartamento è la bellissima terrazza affacciata sui Giardini di Boboli, (solo 5 terrazze in tutta la città affacciano su Boboli) a cui si accede dall’ingresso con una comoda scala a chiocciola.
Attrezzata con eleganti divani, tavoli e sedie, questa terrazza è il luogo ideale ed esclusivo dove potersi rilassare dopo le frenetiche giornate in giro per Firenze e godere il fresco nelle caldi giornate estive.

Siamo in Oltrarno, parte integrante del centro storico di Firenze, comprendente infatti i celebri rioni di Santo Spirito e San Frediano, dove si trovano monumenti, giardini, musei e palazzi monumentali unici al mondo.
Palazzo Pitti (la sontuosa residenza della Famiglia 'de Medici) con il suo splendido Giardino di Boboli, la Basilica di Santo Spirito, il Giardino Bardini, insieme alle botteghe di artigiani, orafi, restauratori, fanno dell'Oltrarno la zona di Firenze dove ancora vive e si respira la fiorentinità.
Questo storico quartiere dell'Oltrarno è conosciuto infatti anche come il quartiere degli Artigiani e degli Artisti, ricco di storie da raccontare.
A due passi trovi: banca, farmacia, bar, pasticcerie, gelaterie, pizzerie, ristoranti tipici.

This is a lovely apartment in an excellent location. Very close to all the main sights but away from the crowds. The owner is very helpful and resolves any problems quickly.

This was our second experience with Airbnb and we loved it. This apartment is PERFECTLY located because you are on the other side of the river, the less hectic side, but just minutes away from the hustle and bustle of the Ponte Vecchio-the bridge to the heart of Florence.
