We arrived late at night from Canada. A flashlight would of been handy to locate our pod, keep that in mind if your going to arrive late. The owners, Selina and Jason arrived in the morning with their dog, and as I am an early riser, I got to have coffee with their very friendly puppy. One of us forgot his cell and another his passport. Jason express posted these items to us in Douglas, Isle of Man. These owners are nothing short of stellar, and are an exemplary example of English hospitality. We are indebted to their superior service and hospitality. I plan to return this September.

Improvements could be made
Recent stay in a pod. Very clean and cosy. Sufficiently equipped. Nowhere to hang any clothes just a couple of hooks where your clothes just dragged on the floor. Shower tray would fill up so obviously blocked somewhere and this needs addressing. Towel rail and toilet seat very loose and could quite clearly be seen and should have been addressed before reletting. Be prepared to be woken up early by some very loud banging. Whilst it says for 4, that would be at a very tight squeeze.

Very cosy
We had a fantastic stay here during a stormy couple of days at the end of October half term. The pods are very unique and were a great place to hunker down - we felt warm and cosy, and everything was very clean and comfortable. The sun shone for a bit and we went out on the little boat on the beautiful lake, and walked around the site which is beautifully kept and rural. We also went to the seal sanctuary and Kynance Cove which was very dramatic in the wind! It was all covid secure.
The pods are snug which is what we were expecting and was fine for a few days - if you are there in summer it would be great to make use of the outdoor area and decking for a bit more space.

Lovely stay
Family & I booked up to stay here back in November so we were very glad that lock down lifted in time to visit in late July.
What a treat after this year, especially for my NHS nurse wife who was looking forward to the time away, the site is well situated to enable exploring of Cornwall with plenty waiting when you got home.
The pods are nicely spread out so your not on top of each other & are all well equipped with 2 sleeping zone’s one with a double, one with 2 singles, a living area with bean bags, a bathroom and a fully stocked kitchen with all the equipment you’d need including stove, fridge, kettle and toaster plus all the utensils. Plus there’s free WI-FI
Outside on the deck you can use the pop up chairs provided and use the BBQ, or go to the fire pit & toast marshmallows. There’s an honesty hut where you can get supplies for the BBQ & Fire pit.
There’s a washing machine & tumble drier to use if needed.
Or you can stroll around or take the boat out on the lake.
A very relaxing place and immaculately kept & this place should be top of your list if you are looking for a glamping holiday in Cornwall.
Would definitely return

Lovely location, very relaxing.
This was perfect for a stay post lockdown as it was easy to socially distance. We were exceptionally lucky with the weather and the pods are a great choice for exploring Cornwall. They are equipped with everything you need, including having a mini heater in the pod and a heated radiator in the bathroom. There are no pictures on the website of the bathroom which made me think it wouldn’t be very nice but it was in fact fab. The shower was very warm, the fittings and sanitary ware were white and of a good quality so my worries were unfounded. The beds were very comfortable and the linen was nice. It was all very well conceptualised and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed having a barbecue and our own fire pit. We ordered the breakfast basket which included lots of goodies: sausages; bacon;eggs;tomatoes; milk; bread;butter; jam; muesli; fruit juice; tea, which helped as it meant we didn’t have to take all those things with us .
All in all we had a lovely time as it is a great spot for a holiday.

Summer Holiday 2020
Our Pod was clean and well equipped, the site is beautifully positioned a short drive from Falmouth. The site is equipped with hand pulled trucks for moving your baggage. There is a play area for children, with a fenced lake to explore. The owners attend the site regularly, they are approachable and friendly. We had a great time and felt well looked after during our stay. Highly recommended

Highly recommended!
We stayed for two nights, our daughter attends the University so we wanted to be close, the location was fantastic. The pods were clean, cosy and had everything we needed for our stay. We arrived at night so it was dark, in the morning went for a stroll around the lakes, beautiful start to any day. I couldn’t recommend more and will be returning in the new year.

Stayed 2 nights and awoke the next day to a tranquil site. Walk around lakes was great in the morning with a coffee. Thoroughly recommend.
